Cindy's Breakfast advice & encouragement

We'll be traveling June 6-10 2006. We have 6 adults a 4yr. old(princess loving niece)and a 6month old. What are the chances of getting into Cindy's for Breakfast on the 6th??? Do we have a prayer???

Forgive me... I have not read this entire thread. Does a lunch reservation at CRT require a credit card deposit hold? Also, is it as hard to get a lunch reservation as it is to get a breakfast one? TIA.

Yes you do have to have a credit card. For CRT, the card is charged in full when you make the reservation. For most other restaurants, it is just to hold the reservation in case of cancellations. It seems easier to get a reservation at CRT now for many reasons - the 180 advance instead of 90 days, paying in full at the time of reservations, the higher cost of the package and the fact that breakfast and lunch both offer the full princess treatment.

Aurora was there on Jan 31 when we went for breakfast. We also saw Belle and Snow White (and of course Cinderella). I like going before the park opens so we don't use "park" time eating a sit down meal. I also enjoy entering the MK without the crowds! Super fun!

I am a total newbie, and had no idea you needed to book 180 days out. I just booked our vacation for July 26 through August 1, and came here, and then panicked when I realized I was well within the 180 day window. I called dining and was able to get CRT's for breakfast for my first choice of day and time. I was expecting to have to call back repeatedly and beg for cancellations, but it was easy! I was very surprised, anyone else finding it easier than they expected to get into CRT's breakfast?

Yes, I found it very easy. I called at 7:30 this morning for July 7 and was given a choice of 9:10 or 10:10 for the five of us. This was the first time I called.After reading all these posts I didnt think we would get it.

We went for breakfast in October of 2005, so I don't know if this has changed, but we had Aurora, Snow White, Cinderella, Belle, and Mary Poppins [in the fab white outfit!].

we are planning to go in sept and will try to book a cinderella royal table breakfast, my question is i will be using the dining plan and understand it will use up two credits but i am wondering does this include the picture package at no additional charge?, and also i will be attempting to make the reservations in just a couple days for this and other places to eat as i understand it is 180 days prior to reserve but would like to know if a credit card is required to reserve seating for this? tx for any info that can be provided

just an added note to my prior questions, i read back in the posts here that a credit card is required and you have to pre pay which brings a new question to mind, i am purchasing the dining plan which says it can be used for the royal table breakfast so i am not quite sure why i would want a credit card billed if i am using the plan or do they handle this another way? again tx

Hi! The new price of Crt includes the picture package. If there are more than 4 people, you will get two packages, from what I've been hearing from other people. When you make your ADRS, just tell them you will be on the dining plan. They may take your credit card to guarantee the reservation, but they will not charge the price of the breakfast. When I call in a couple of weeks, I think I will prepay the meal. I don't want to use 2 of my table service points for 1 breakfast. I'm not happy about the price increase, but I had breakfast with the princesses in 2004 and there is nothing like dining in the castle!

ty for the info, i went to aaa today and the agent booked the reservation for the breakfast on sept , we do not used a credit card for anything but we did have a mastercard debit card thats been unused for over a year with no balance on it and the agent sugested trying to give them that number since we will be using the dining plan for this and they wont try to charge it and most likely wont know its a debit card and it worked, thought i would pass that info on, and ty for the info again
