So far as the cowgirl goes....I'm glad I live in NJ, because I am very, VERY far away!!!!
you're lucky!
Yay! Your pictures are working! All the Photopass pictures are really fun! I hope we can get some creative ones on this trip. I didn't know much about Photopass in 2006 on our first trip, and we only got about 12 for the ENTIRE trip, good thing I didn't bother buying the disc! This year will be DS' first trip, so I want them for the fun memories.
The pics from the festival are fun too (I know squat about football, so I will just say it looks like it would be a really good time if you are into it!

). The video made me laugh out loud....I really hope the town didn't hire her to sing...
i hope you get lots of good photopass pics! if you pre-pay for the CD you get it for $100 instead of like $120. unless you're doing a share then it's even cheaper. it's worth it if you get lots of pics!
i don't know if they hired that girl or if it was volunteer work. i can't imagine she had to try out for anyone though because surely they would've said thanks, but no thanks!
I always watch GameDay and Saturday was no different. I looked for you but I guess I missed it! I feel pretty good in saying I picked Vandy to beat Auburn in all the fantasy picks I participate in. I had watched both Vandy and Auburn play thi sseason and I knew what was going to happen. The backup QB looked good. So good I hear the job is now open for competition between him and the first stringer. I'm sure they will beat Miss St this week as long as they stay focused. My friend and I are planning to hit the Vandy - GA game next Saturday. It'll be a tough game for GA, I am sure.
thanks for betting on us! yes, they backup QB looked good. nickson (the 1st string) just wasn't landing much although he was running decently when he needed to. anyway, i'm glad we have 2 decent QBs on the team!
I love the photpass pictures! It's great that you got a good photographer.
thanks! yeah, he was great. i'm gonna look for him again in december!
Dawn~ Thanks for sharing your day with us too! Looked like a fun one!
The spin art is very cool!
That poor girl......wow!

Someone who was with her definitely should have told her to sit that one out. I mean, good for her for getting up there in the 1st place.....but, unbelieveable!
Love the pic of you trying to discreetly videotape her...

I'm laughing because I probably would have done the same thing!
i will tell luke you liked his spin art.

yeah, i agree that she's brave to get up there. i just felt bad for her. but you couldn't help but react negatively. it was AWFUL.
Happy Friday Dawn & Erica
thanks!!! you too!
More TR please!!!!
i've been in a murder trial this week so i haven't had time to breathe, much less write on this TR. we will get to it soon though!
First I have to say is YEAH I CAN SEE THE PICTURES NOW.
This is my favorite border.
Oh dear that poor girl. Now I know I can't sing (believe me my boys tell me all the time) but my kids are the only ones that hear me. Thanks for the fair pictures. I bet you had a lot of yummy food too.
i love that border, too. we used it more later on and you'll see those. singing badly in front of your kids, while cleaning the house, in the shower or in your car is totally allowed! singing badly in front of your entire community is NOT!

actually, the only food i had was a BBQ sandwich and then ray and i split a mango-flavored lemonade. i stayed away from funnel cakes and fried things!

for the pictures being back!!!!
The photopass pix are great! So lucky to get such a cool photopass photog. We got one like that once at Christmas - spent about 15 minutes taking pictures of the girls & I in Epcot. Who needs to book that stinkin' photo pass private session when there's guys like that walking around the parks?
i hope we meet your guy when we go in december! do you happen to remember where he was and what he looked like?
As for that video - I don't get it; isn't that what country music is supposed to sound like?
no, i don't *think* most country sounds like that. just because i'm from tennessee/georgia doesn't mean i like that kind of music, silly! i grew up in nashville and i
loathed country music growing up. now i've learned to love johnny cash, patsy cline and the dixie chicks. yes, an odd mix....i know. i can't deal with anything else really. HOWEVER, i will defend my heritage and say that that girl was a very POOR representation of country music and gives all southerners a bad name!!!! seriously.....she was awful. i'm not a country music fan but i like the fact that i live in an area that offers lots for me to choose from as far as live music goes: country, rock, rap, R&B, pop, bluegrass and even a little techno.
