It's easy getting up at 2:00 A.M. when you know you're going to WDW! The morning is crisp and clear, perfect flying weather! Unfortunately, we weren't flying for another few hours and by the time we did board the plane, it was snowing! AHH! We were delayed due to de-icing but arrived safely in Pittsburgh. Did not have long to wait for next flight but no time to shop either! Maybe on the way home! Board next plane, more de-icing and we're off to MCO!
We are finally here! It looks sunny and warm but was kinda worried since the temps had gone down 10 degrees in 10 minutes!
We were greeted by CM's who herded us to the lines to wait for the buses and they mooved us onto the bus according to which resort you were staying. The bus was comfortable and had a bathroom! First stop, CBR! Home again!
Note: for those doing the land/sea, the blue envelope, put all documentation inside including "Debark" even though it does not state this! Canuk travellers, don't have to show your passport 'cause we have to check in at port. Just give them the Blue envelope.
Then it's off to guest services to check in! Before we even reach a CM, there he was, just coming out the office door, a manager with PINS! He catches the gleam in our eyes, he rolls his and we attack! It's the start of DD's license plate collection!
We get to the wicket, and are asked, Aruba or Barbados? It's DD's Christmas/Birthday trip and we were kinda hoping Martinique like last Easter when we stayed. Well we're suppose to keep everyone together, blah, blah, blah! Next thing I know we're checked into Martinique! The Magic has begun.
We leave the Custom House to walk over to Martinique. I notice the time and we must rush 'cause we are meeting Minybear and her husband at the Ice Cream Social. We drop what we had and rush over. We just make it, well a few minutes late, but we got there. It was wonderful meeting Minybear. It was like meeting an old friend. Hi There!
Ice Cream Social:
Great Character Interation! Chip and Dale kept interupting our conversations. A definate must do! Mickey and Pluto are there but Chip and Dale even sat down and tried eating DD's ice cream! It was hilarious!
DD and I end up staying at Epcot even though both have been up since 2:00 a.m. By this time the weather has changed drastically. I look around, no we're not in Toronto?? But the weather, it followed us! We head back to CBR.
We are hungry and decide to try Shutters. Good Choice! It wasn't crowded and the food was good.
After dinner too cold for a walk so off we go back to the room to get some shut eye.
For tomorrow our day starts with 1900 Park Fare!
