chicken fried steak?

Does anyone know if you can get chicken fried steak anywhere in disney. we keep seeing it in US shows and my DH would love to try it.
Has to be disney or international drive as we have no car. Thanks

I don't think I've ever seen it on a menu at WDW. But if you will have a rental car on your vacation, just stop in at any Cracker Barrel restaurant.

There is chicken fried steak at T-Rex in DTD. Didn't really care for it...I've had better.

I was coming to say the same thing -- T-Rex. DH had it in January and finished the whole plate. He enjoyed it.

The portion was super large -- two slices...each about 6-7" across. Way too much food for me.

Like most Disney and associated foods, it may not be the "best ever" but it'll be good and fill you up!

Oh, the serving was huge! I was just disappointed, and I am not very picky...I know a lot of my favorites have had bad reviews as well Try it, and if you don't like it, you know what not to order next time

I've previously lived in the south for a number of years, and do my fair share of travelling. The best chicken fried steak tends to be from family owned places, diners, and non-chain type places.

But, I have to say that Texas Roadhouse does make consistently good chicken fried steak for a chain place. I heard a while back that they are opening a Texas Roadhouse near Animal Kingdom pretty soon.

When we've stayed at the All-Star resorts it was on the breakfast food court menu. Not sure if they still have it nowadays.

Have it, you won't regret it ! My husband told me about chicken fried steak when he drove a truck through the US, and I was in awe ! Steak in batter, then deep fried ? Now, I make it at home and my kids love it .

I read this and my heart started hurting. Never had chicken fried steak?!? That's a crime! Being a Texas native, CFS is a staple on any good southern diner menu. I've had it at least 1,000 times in my life and it's always a good default meal for me when we eat out if nothing else catches my eye. That said, I can't vouch for the CFS at TRex as I've never eaten there but I can't expect that it would be that good. If you can, stop by a Cracker Barrel. The do a pretty good job. Texas Roadhouse would be another good option.
