The Albanese company
Before I retired I had a client in the Merrillville and NW IN area. You probably knew them, Wiseway, but now a different company. When I would visit there, several times a year, I would stop at the Albanese factory store on my way home. I would buy some gummies, a variety. Probably liked the bears the best. Other than that I never buy any gummies. If somebody has some gummies, grandkids or whoever, I might have a few. Of that type of candy, I do prefer Lifesaver gummies, much more flavorful.

I'll eat and never say no to both but if I had to choose, it'd hands down be bears every time. Worms are just too big and chewy, bears are nice and bitesize. If they do either of these in a sour flavour too then thats always going to be a winner.

I am not a huge fan of gummy candy, so worms or bears makes no difference. I don’t buy either one. I will eat them if they are part of something else, like when they use gummies in desserts at an Epcot festival.

I never ate a lot of gummy candy. I guess I have had more bears than worms, though I don’t know if I actually ever purchased either for myself.

IMO, gummy bears and worms are the same ingredients. Except for those designated as SOUR. I like regular (sweet) bears and worms.

I prefer the sour worms or kids rather than gummy ones.

Other favorites:Swedish fish and flavored fruit slices.

You were definitely in my neck of the woods at that time. I do remember Wiseways, but I never shopped at them. Going to the Albanese candy store is a fun thing to do. If someone can’t find a candy they like in there, then they aren’t going to find it anywhere - LOL!

I love a gummy nibble every now and then but they give me outrageous migraines so the ingredients are suspect, I never noticed a difference in taste from one to the other as they are all sort of mildly sweet.

Not my thing. I prefer chocolate to other types of candy these days, although I used to eat Life Savers and butterscotch hard candies.

Never buy them. I don’t care for most kinds of very sugary, sticky, or gummy candy. I’ve had them a few times, but they weren’t popular when I was a kid, and like @georgina, would rather have chocolate. DS sometimes had gummy bears as a topping on ice cream, but then they get hard to chew.

It has been too long for me in having them to remember my preference and now I have to be restrictive on candy choices.

I prefer the bear shape, but I’ll eat any shape as long as it doesn’t contain gelatin!

Not a fan of gummy bears (don't like the texture), but I do love the White Gummi smoothie from Jamba Juice if that counts, haha.
