Morning..

Bunchy - sorru to hear about Hunter. The good thing is ( if there is a good thing) that he will heal fast and besides he gets to miss school and then have all the kids draw on his cast. KEWL.. Give him a hug for us.. and some ice cream ice cream makes everything better..

Mac you are in my prayers let us know the day to day stuff..

Debbie6221 I get my flu shot at Sears tower, maybe that is less stressful than Stoger..

Eric got a letter from the wrestling coach at the high school yesterday telling him to join the wrestling club this year... WT.. anyway, he is going to start going Mondays and Wednesday or alternate Mondays due to scouts.. They sure get those kids early ..Band tryouts are march.. so I guess we have offically started him with the HS stuff..

Good Morning All :sunny:

I know there is no sun today but I finally feel like I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel :teeth:

I feel like I have been gone for years :sad2: I was going to try to catch up on everything but I kept going back farther and farther so I just decided to post.

Bunchkin---I did see that Hunter broke his arm, :wizard: for him and I hope he is feeling better.

Maybe these will brighten the day a little :thumbsup2

Bunchkin -- Ouch for Hunter. :grouphug: My DS-9 broke his arm a couple years ago while jumping on a trampoline but it was near the wrist & a quickly clean break. Thankfully he was out of the cast right before we went to WDW. I'm sorry he's in so much pain though. :sad1:

Debbie -- Wave to me as you go to St. Charles. I'm in Geneva, except at Thanksgiving I think I'll be in North Aurora...I'm *supposed* to go to my brother's but they haven't told me what time yet. :rotfl2:

Slo -- Congratulations to Stephanie!

Everyone else Hello :wave2: ...hope you have a great day.

Hi Everyone. Well for some reason, our network is down here at work and we can't open our files on our network. I'm surprised I made it here, but honestly, there's pretty much not one thing I can do. Everything I work on is on the network drives. I tried to type up a few things without saving them and it was all for naught anyway. I did something and lost the whole shebang, so I gave up and decided to take this as a sign from the work Gods to slow down and hang out with some friends for a while.

BUNCHKIN!!! I am soooo sorry to hear about Hunter! My goodness, the poor little guy! Don't forget my offer, if you want to send Lauren over this weekend for some play time, so you can focus on Hunter for a while. We'll be around all weekend! Or, if you need to head out in the evening at all this week, I'll be around to watch Lauren. Megan would LOVE IT!!

I hope you are having a better day today!

SLO: Big hugs and happiness to Stephanie!! Good for her! Boy, I think I would have studied harder if my Mom made my favorite meal for passing a test. Fish sticks and mac n cheese! SUPERB!! :thumbsup2

macraven... I hope things are getting better for you and your son. I'm not sure what happened, but you are in my thoughts and prayers!

To all of you heading to the Mag Mile this weekend... HAVE A BLAST. Tell Mickey I'll see him next week! I hope the weather is good. I am going to do that one year before Megan gets too "cool" for that stuff!

Here's a question for all of us who went to Mickey's Magic Show. Did y'all notice how the character's mouths moved? Did you know they only do that in the Magic show?? Apparently, the technology is working so well in Mickey's Magic Show, that they are going to introduce it to shows in the park! I knew something looked different about that show!!

Have a good day everyone. For those of you who had bad days yesterday, I hope you get some extra nice happen to you today!

Mac...Hope everything is better with your son! :grouphug:
Slo...glad you are liking your classes. Is the realty business hard to be in right now? I heard things are going to be changing in January. Is that true?Congrats to your DD on her time tables. :woohoo:
Nightowl...your pix DID chear me up! I love em! :thumbsup2
Becky...it's been nice talking to you about HSM. We ARE crazy though ya know! :cheer2:
SamIAm Hi  That Magic Show sounded so great. I would have loved to have seen it but we were in WDW when the show was by me. Poor me, right? I think moving mouths would be really cool!
Susan..I think I am going to just bite the bullet and get the shots at their ped doc. It will probably cost me a fortune though. :sad2:
Kim

I am not having the best day since I CAN NOT find my credit card. The good news is I put a hold on it and no one has used it but the bad news is I have searched everywhere I can imagine since the Rainforest Cafe lunch and have not found it. I called RF and they said they don't have it so... :confused3
It's the card I use for EVERYTHING and cancelling it will be a MAJOR pain!
Thanks for listening.

Oh I did find some great shoes at Target for DD's Christmas dress. No luck for the baby.

Hi all-
Sorry, hardly been on the boards much today, til now.
I have been having a not so good day today. One of my SILs sent me a nasty email this morning about something that I and DH have no control over. Because her and my dh's brother disagree with us on something that happened recently, they are not planning on inviting us over for Thanksgiving dinner :sad2: Oh well, their loss :) . This is the way they want to act, so be it. I emailed SIL back explaining the situation, trying to resolve the situation, but she didn't want any part of what I was trying to relay. She thinks she's always right for some reason, and has to have everything HER way  Whatever. You can't please everyone and you can choose your friends, not your family, right? DH is not in the best of moods either, on this email SIL sent us. He's taking it worse than I am and he's at work. I keep telling DH to just don't worry about it anymore and let it go.
I went to do some errands early this afternoon, so that was my day so far.
Can't stay long, need to pick up the kids from their afterschool activity in a few minutes.
Thank you all for listening to me and being here for me :goodvibes

Bunchkin- Sorry to hear about Hunter's arm. Hope he feels better soon! :grouphug: :wizard:

Mac- :grouphug: and prayers to you and your dson. Please keep us posted on the situation.

Debbie- hope you can find your credit card :wizard:

NiteOwl- Glad to see you! You have been missed! Really enjoyed your pics, couldn't have come at a better time for me. :)

Jedi- How are you doing? You have been missed, too!

Welcome,biras jim!

Hi to everyone else I missed :wave2:

Gotta go. Have a good day, everyone.

roseprincess, sounds like the family i have,
are we related??
:rotfl:

we have never had a holiday with any relatives.....ever......
it's always just the people within our four walls that are together for holiday time.

it does turn out fine though but the kids never have really known holidays with any relatives.

hang in there. it will get better.
you have each other and the kids and that is a very good thing.

don't let the outlaws ruin your thanksgiving.

hello ladies! It's been awhile since I posted here. The girl's are both doing well. I just want to post that in a few months I won't be a Chicago disser anymore :guilty: DH and I decided to move to Charlotte,NC at the beginning of the new year. I finally got the nerve to tell my mom after we knew for about 2-3 weeks now, but my mom thinks it is a nice place to move.

Hi Amy :wave2:
I'm sorry to hear you will be moving :guilty: But happy for you, if you and your dh are happy to move :cheer2:
You can always visit here before and after your move! :cool1:

amy, good wishes for your future in a new place. it is exciting to move i think, especially to a place that is warmer than chgo..........

you will hve to post pics of your girls before you leave and then over the months when you are gone. i know i watched your youngest grow and would love to see pics of both of your littles as they get bigger.'
i can remember when the baby was newborn.

HI, everyone

I just wanted to pop on and ask for everyone's prayers and pixie dust. DH and I are in NYC right now and we had a mishap this morning on the plane. About midflight, I noticed DH's head bobbling back and forth, and I noticed he had dropped the granola bar he was eating. I didn't know if he was choking, or having a minor seizure or a stroke or what. It was the scariest moment of my life. All I know is that I was calling his name, holding his face in my hands and he just would not come-to. His eyes were glazed over and he was unresponsive and his head kept bobbling around. I thought I was going to lose my husband on that flight. :guilty:

Anyway, to make a long story short, he is fine, believe it or not. He finally came-to, was tended to by flight attendants and a doctor who was on board (thankfully) and was taken off the plane by paramedics and taken to the ER at a hospital in Queens. They ran all sorts of tests on him and everything came out fine. So, they have no idea what happened to him. :confused3 The doc didn't think it was food related (low blood sugar) fatigue or anything like that.

So, we're here resting in the hotel. We still went to the concert tonight that we came here for, and we'll be back in Chicago on Thursday. I can't imagine I'll get any sleep tonight. I'll probably stay up watching him. It was the scariest thing I've gong through. :guilty:

Hi all!! :wave2:

I'm going to make this a short post, as it is late and I've gotten hardly any sleep in the past 24 hrs.

Hunter is doind better today. We were able to take him to the orthopedic doctor today. And he was given a cast. He handled it very well. And he was really happy to pick the kind of cast he was getting. He chose a green cast with snowmen, Santa's and Christmas trees on it. Very cute indeed!! :goodvibes Is he ready for the holidays or what??? :teeth:
He has to wear the cast for 5 weeks, if all goes well of course. The fracture is very clean and should heal nicely. We go back to the doctor in a week for an x-ray to verify it is healing properly.

After the doctors, I took him to Walmart where he picked out a new Star Wars toy and a few other things he loves....like some Ding Dongs and other favorite snacks, and a few other things. :teeth: Ok, so I was feeling badly for him and he got to pick out whatever he wanted at Walmart. :rotfl2:

I crashed on the couch for a short while this afternoon. Just so tired.
I had spent most of last night checking on Hunter and making sure he was sleeping ok. At one point he cried out and was sitting up facing the wrong direction in his bed, very disorientated.

He is sleeping soundly now, but it looks so uncomfortable to have to sleep with that cast on. I can't imagine how he is going to handle it for 5 weeks. :sad2:

Well, I need to get to bed. I am beyond beat. :faint:

I will catch up with everyone's goings ons tomorrow.

Unitl then...........
Be safe and play nice with others. :smooth:
