opinions on the King Tut exhibit ? anybody take young children to it ?

I remember seeing it years and years ago, but that's about all I can tell ya. I thought I rememebered someone posting that it wasn't very good. But I could be wrong.

Jedi Wow I certainly hope whatever happened to Tobi is found out soon and treated. Not knowing what it was and if it can happen again is very frightening. I think if that happened to me my screaming would have brought down the plane. Take care

Jedi - I hope you can find out what happened to Toby. That would have been so scary!

Bunchkin - I hope Hunter gets used to his cast and doesn't mind it too much. Just think, 5 weeks is right before Christmas, he might even want to keep it longer since it's Christmas-y! You never know about kids.

Mac - I hope you can get your son home, soon.

Amy - Good luck with your move. I'm sure you'll miss your family here, but at least with the internet it's much easier to keep in touch than it used to be. Keep us posted with lots of pictures of the girls!

I got some of my Christmas shopping done today

Stephanie is asking Santa for an American Girl doll. So I ordered her the Samantha doll (which is the one she wants) and 2 outfits, a hair brush, a doll stand, a tote bag, and a CD on how to do different hair styles. She's going to love it!!!!

I also ordered some stuff from Amazon.
I got Stephanie Season 1 & 2 of Full House
I got Kevin Season 1 of Home Improvement and Season 2 of Emergency.

It feels so good to get some shopping done

I went to the doctor this morning and he gave me a breathing treatment, an inhaler to use before bed, and a new antibiotic. He said if the coughing is still happening next Wednesday, then I have to have a chest X-Ray. With this going on, Kevin and I decided that we are not going downtown this Saturday. I just don't think I should be outside for any great length of time. So for all you that are going - think of me, I'll be thinking of you!!!!

Jedi...So sorry about your inncident! Oh my gosh I would have been scared out of my mind. I'm glad the first doc said he looks fine. Be sure to go again at home but you know that. Good luck!

Kim and Sandy I was just curious about the whole real estate thing because we have friends who CAN NOT sell thier house. They already bought the next house so they have a double mortgage right now. It's terrible. Sorry about your hours Kim. Doesn't it always seem like stuff like that happens when you want the money the most too(ie. holidays)!

Mac Please keep us posted about your son. Is he safe yet?

Bunchkin I'm glad your DS is all fixed up! The festive cast sounds neat! Kids are so resiliant ya know. It probably still hurts you more to watch him go through this all than it hurts him physically.

Oh, I'm around, just been busy today....will be leaving again in a bit to take one DS to Karate, then switch and take the other DS to Karate early so that I can pick up DD from the basketball game she is cheering at today. Unfortunately, I won't be able to sneak in & see her 1/2 routine today like I did her first home game. I can't make it there with the timing of her brother's classes so I'm going to have just enough time to get there when they are *usually* over, unless the game goes into overtime or something.

I was actually just coming to reply to this thread (I have a tendency to read but then don't have time to respond right then).

Just checking in to see if MAC heard from her son or We got an update on Carmen about Toby..

Bunchkin how was Hunter's first day with the cast?

Geoff had a cold and you would think the world was coming to an end with all of his moaning and groaning.. must take after his DAD.LOL

We have a busy night, Geoff has his HS sports award assembly tonight at 7, he has to be at school at 6:45; Eric has wrestling at 6:30 - 8:00 and equipment turn in at 6:45 pm// so i guess I will running from one place to the next.

well we are definately moving there mom, now when we are moving is the mystery, it will be no later then February for sure. I do know when mom comes up for a visit we are taking a road trip to VA I think, to where the big Yankee Candle store is.
I rather be in the warmer weather, at least next Halloween the girl's can wear thier costumes without coats over them to hide them and we can stay out trick or treating longer then an hour because there hands and face won't freeze. If you remember my friends Ace'sbabydoll, we are moving next to her. Oh she is doing well by the way, she is naming the baby Julia.
