Characters at IOS & US

Hi everyone!
What characters are found at each park? Also, is IOA appropriate for a 7 year old and a (very petite) 5 year old?

IOA has a great Suess landing area. Last week we saw cat in the hat, the grinch,and spiderman. I do think the park is age appropriate for your kids. They won't be able to do all of it.

We saw more characters out in US than IOA. At US, we saw Alex and the penguins from Madagascar, Chuckie, Angelica, Scooby, Jimmy Neutron, Shrek, Fiona, Donkey, Woody Woodpecker and a girl Woodpecker, Spongebob, and Marilyn Monroe. The only character we saw at IOA was Spiderman and that was where they take your picture inside a store (and yes we bought the picture). I have to say the character greets For Universal were better run than Disney's greets. The cast member for Universal actually stood at the end of the line announcing the line for that character was closed since their time was up. Disney's staff yelled that they were leaving in 5 minutes, but didn't do anything to actually stop additional people from standing in line. :
