Character Breakfast Transportation Information

Hello Tyler,
You seem to be the guy with all the answers..... My question is: I have made PS's at Animal Kingdom Lodge BOMA for 7:30 am on May 5/2005. We are staying onsite at Pop Century. The lady at Disney Dining said AK does not open until 9 am that day. How do we get to AKL from Pop? Are there buses as early as 6:45 am from Pop to AKL? Thanks for any info you can give us.

Yeah, Dining has no clue. The AK breakfast bus won't start up till around 7:00, give or take, so you will be cutting it a bit close. But it's definetly doable. Just be out at the bus stop no later than 7:00am, and let the driver know you need to get to AKL.

Just the info I needed!

Another specific resort question:

If we're staying at the Dolphin & have an early PS (7:30 am) at Kona, would we be able to take a bus before 7:00?, or is it just better to cab it that early just in case?

Thanks!!!

If you're out at the bus stop at 6:45am, and let the driver know you're going to the Polynesian, you will be fine.

Tyler,

Looks like you have a huge amount of transportation-karma built up for you!

Thanks!

thanks for the helpful info. we had a kind bus driver take us to cm after he dropped the mk gang off. they must get so tired of the same questions..is this the bus to...:)

I've asked this question before and have gotten different answers, so I thought I could have you confirm.

We will be using a rental car....have a CP ressie for 8:25 AM, and a Donald's for 8:05 AM. From what I've been told only the buses can get into the AK parking lot before 8 so I should take the bus, and that for CP I could do either but need to have my conf # to be able to get onto the monarail at the TTC before 8AM. Should I just take the bus here too will it be a hassle to get on the monarail. We're staying at CBR

No cars are allowed into the Animal Kingdom parking lot early. This includes people with dining reservations at Donald's. Definitely take the bus to the AK for an early breakfast.
For the MK you are also better off taking the bus for your Crystal Palace breakfast. Disney buses leave you off right at the MK entrance. If you drive you have to park at the TTC and then either boat or monorail over.
Much easier in both cases to take the Disney buses.

So could someone help me....

I have an 8:05 PR for Donald's on the 2nd of Oct. Staying at POR. What time do you think I should catch the bus?

In my experience the special character bus comes to resorts at about 7:00a. That is the time our bus came for MK for my ADR that was at 8:20a.

I would get to the bus stop at 7:00a, but that's just me.

The "rule of thumb" ....so to speak...is to be at your resort bus stop at least 45 minutes before your breakfast. You want to allow extra time in case you just miss a bus and have to wait for another.

I will be staying at the WL and have a 8.25 breakfast at CP in the MK can someone please tell how I get there and what time I will need to leave etc.

Many thanks

The boat starts running at 7 am and is a 15-minute ride.

The boat to CR starts a 7AM. YOu woud then have to walk to MK.

The boat from WL to MK will not be running yet (unless it is an EMH morning).

YOu could also take the bus to MK. Be out at the bus stop not later than 7:40

I have an Ohana breakfast at 7:30 am one morning on my trip. Does anyone know if I take the bus from All Star Resorts (Sports) how long will it take me to get there? We're driving so I can always take the car, but I'd rather not.
