Does anyone know what the difference is between a CBR "Preferred" room and a CBR "Water View" room? There is, of course, an obvious difference, but are the water view rooms not preferred? ...I'm probably asking a very stupid question...lol

Since I paid for a Water View, what buildings are best?

Thanks for the information!! :goodvibes

Preferred are the buildings closest to the main building. Water view is a room that atleast has a partial view of the lake or a pool. Since you have a water view you could be anywhere around the resort.

Request buildings 45, or 44. They are the closest non-preferred rooms. Just recently we were in building 45 with water view and it was great.

There probably are water view room within the preferred category but I imagine you only get those if you book a preferred room. I'm actually surprised there isn't a separate "preferred water view" category because it seems they are making more and more categories for each resort.

Water view rooms at the moderates are a rip-off! You could wind up with seeing a pool out the corner of your eye. I wouldn't book one unless it was the only category available for a good discount deal.

POFQ has actually changed their structure to allow booking of "river view" versus "water view" since this was such a big deal.

What "Village" or Building? Whenever I have booked a water view at CSR, I have always gotten the Cabanas building and it was overlooking the lake. :) Maybe I will get some of that Disney magic again and not just get a pool view :goodvibes

It's the Jamiaca section, buldings 44 or 45.
