Casey Anthony NOT GUILTY & Sentencing Thread 6

I am reading all this stuff about the witness tampering, there was supposedly a hearing about that in Feb of this year. Anyone know how that went? I also was reading how Baez was hounding someone to look in TES files look for the document that LB submitted. I guess they were so desperate becaused they had nothing for their client, it was exuplatory he was looking for.

Just saw on HLN an interview with EquuSearch owner/attorney and the attorney specifically said " the law suit was filed today, it's against Casey Anthony because her attorney said she was never missing. They are going for the total amount $112K!!! He also said they turned down other families that needed help because they were searching for Caylee. Oh, and he said she will be served tomorrow in jail, so she can't disappear! They will also seek her deposition!

The owner, Tim Miller said they had no choice because they have never been in this position before.

Please tell me this is true? It would make me very happy!

YES!! YES!! YES!!!!!! It's true. JVM interviewed them. I was SO happy when I heard it!

:cool1:  :woohoo:

Now can you tell me the state changed their mind and will be trying Cindy for perjury?

Her fraud is why they searched.

Remember runaway bride?

She never ASKED the police to come looking for her. But due to her lies, many resources were spent looking for her. She never called authorities herself.

IIRC, she had community service as her sentence and she owed money back.

So just because Ms. Anthony did not ask--IMHO, does not matter. She committed fraud and people were trying to help her based on that fraud. I do believe she is culpable.

I wonder how they came to the dollar amount they did.

I agree that she committed fraud. But from what I read form different attorneys , there doesn't seem to be a strong legal basis for this. I hope they are wrong, Id love to see her reimburse Tim Miller for all those expenses.

Well dayum!! That's awesome! You see, you just can't listen to attorneys. Most of them don't know anything LOL!

I wish I could! But hey, we got this news, so it's not that bad of a day! :goodvibes

My DH came in a few minutes ago and said, did you hear about the new lawsuit against KC? I'm like, old news! lol He is upset about this too and everytime someone else goes after her, he's :cool1: just like us! :thumbsup2

IF this were all true....

WHAT would motivate an attorney to do such a thing...:rolleyes1

I swear--if he knew Caylee was there, I think he should be complicit in the crime/cover up.

I get that he must defend Casey--I don't get how it is legally allowed for him to allow evidence to decay and play "finders keepers, losers weepers"--meaning, allowing the evidence to further erode away into nothingness to help his client's case.

Is there no crime here? And why?

If this is indeed true...

I keep telling myself (as if I actually knew anything :rotfl2:) that no way would Law Enforcement waste resources investigating a document-fudging TES volunteer unless they knew it could lead to a much bigger catch. I really hope Laura Buchanan helps herself by turning evidence against Baez.

Cindy did not lie (as far as any records show) regarding Caylee being missing.

Casey committed the fraud.

I don't think it matters who hires a rescue organization.

Yeah - you're right! I thought that they could go for Cindy as she was the one who hired them ... but yeah, since she thought Caylee was missing, it makse sense they wouldn't bother with her since she didn't commit the fraud.

Excellent to all the bolded parts!!!! I am sure that Casey is ready to kill Baez right now!!! It's his fault that she's slapped with this suit! Gotta love it! Baez screwed Casey over big time!!! Love it!

She claims Casey may not even have been there when she died, since she was pimping her out.
If Casey were pimping her out and wasn't there when she died, why would she lie about the Nanny and create the accidental drowning? Why wouldn't she just say "Oh, so-and-so was with her and that's when it happened."?

That theory makes no sense! We all know Casey wouldn't have sat a second in that prison cell if she could've blamed someone else for the murder. We all know how she loves to throw people under the bus. No way she wouldn't be naming names ...

Wow! Did anyone see Dorothy Clay Sims (sp?) on Greta van Susteren's show a few minutes ago? Holy makeover!! I guess now that they're all famous, she had to go all Hollywood. I didn't even recognize her until I saw her name on the screen.

Once again, though, Greta gave the softball interview. She was asking DCS about the smell in Casey's car, and DCS replied, "Well, there was a rotting bag of garbage in the car." OK, Greta, your follow-up question should have been, "But there was no food in the bag." Gotta give it to Nance Grace. She wouldn't have let that go unchallenged.

Good for them. I think if I was a volunteer I might be tempted to file some kind of small claims suit for the time I spent looking for a "non" missing child due to Bozo's opening statement.

I actually don't even care if they get any money really..I just want Casey tied in in court and legal fees and whatever else they can throw at her for as long as they can so her "bella vita" is really really "bella miserable"

Rumors that she might be going to Puerto Rico, oh no, if she thinks Puerto Ricans will welcome her bella vita face she is wrong!

I really hope she goes to the Congo or get lost in the Amazons.

Another rumor that Katie C nailed the interview, I believe it when i see it. She will get out of jail but she will never be free, unless she moves to another country maybe, she can go to Mexico and work for the cartels.

I've wondered if some of the volunteers might pool together and sue her for wasting their time. Even if they didn't get much, it would be great to watch Casey have to go through lawsuit after lawsuit.

Of course, they believed the garbage story, a cadaver dog was wrong too, ? :confused3 Dumb jury sorry.
