We all escaped the news and internets today by going to watch Transformers 3 and by going shopping. Watching stuff blow up on the movie screen was adequately distracting.

Factual guilt is not the same thing as legal guilt. Just because you think someone did it does not mean that the state presented evidence to prove it beyond a reasonable doubt. Not stupid.

Not in the jury room. If they think she is guilty based on the presented evidence then they betray their oath not voting so

It's a farce that someone would vote not guilty with a heavy heart

Tim Miller and Equusearch want their $112K+ back for the money they spent on investigation. They're planning a lawsuit against Casey. Says isn't sure lawsuit will happens (but personally, I hope it does). He said that they were looking for a missing child that wasn't really missing. Cindy Anthony called them looking for their help when Casey knew Caylee wasn't missing. Using Baez's statement about "Caylee was never missing" from his opening statement as their evidence.

Zaneida is slapping a lawsuit on Casey. Casey was served with a subpoena in jail last night!!!! Excellent move on John Morgan (Zaneida's attorney). Attorney's going to ask Casey why she chose this woman's life to ruin! Snap!!! I guess Zaneida's kids lives were threatened, she lost her job and her home! ZOWIE!!

$68K+ in unpaid taxes.

Oh, Casey ... you thought you'd be free but you're going to be financially burdened as your "future earnings" are already starting to slip away!

I've been trying really hard to stay away from this thread and the TV because I was just too annoyed and getting way too over emotional over this. Thought I would say things that might cause points or banning.....Anyhow, reading this sure helped me.

Anthony family attorney is saying Cheney Mason or someone from the firm might take Casey in.

They showed the Anthony's home with a police car and police on horseback outside. I hope that the Anthony's are paying for that and not the residents of the state of FL. Alleges they've received 14 death threats via fax at attorney's office so far.

Oh, Casey ... if only you were honest to begin with, you would've avoided a lot of this!!!

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I sure wish Judge Perry had granted that mistrial that Baez and crew kept asking for during the trial.

After listening to that alternate juror last night and taking into account how quickly the jury came to a verdict, I am convinced that the jurors were talking about this case all along.

All the money that the state has to pay will compromise other services in the state. This is like playing the 6 Degrees of Kevin Bacon! Perhaps Casey is the Anti-Christ?

It was on TV. Its an hour long so there is a lot of content. In a nutshell, he feels the Anthony family really isn't any more or any less dysfunctional than any other family. He mentions Cindy just didn't want to believe that Casey had anything to do with it. George suspected something was up. He finds George to be a very conflicted person. That after his suicide attempt, he changed into a just "support my wife" mode.

George learned about implicating him a few months before trial and he was very very upset. It was at this point that he kind of stopped covering for Casey.

The one that surprised him most was Lee. He had been very helpful and cooperative through out the case but when he got on the stand during trial it was a completely different person. Frank George had to pull everything out of him and then he became a witness for the prosecution.

As far as prosecuting Cindy for perjury, its not for him to call. He is too close to the investigation and doesn't find it appropriate for him to make that determination.

He was also asked about the supposed fight the night of the 15th. He mentions that since Cindy had a completely different story of the 15th and Casey never said, they didn't pursue it.

He talks about the evidence, Jose Baez, Casey, Roy Kronk, Yuri Melich... I would keep checking You tube. I have a lot of respect for him.

He is supposed to be on the Dr Drew show tonight as well.

YES!! That is exactly what I said a bunch of posts back! Let them talk and one of them will slip. And WHY on earth would the Prosecutor let someone on the jury who says " my religion will not let me judge" really?

Seriously, who think to send a death threat to a lawyer's office via fax? Couldn't that be traced?

Honestly, they just want free security. Too bad they all don't deserve it. Why should the citizens of Fla have to pay for MORE security in addition to the trial?

Oh and Casey will get all kinds of free security. I say dump her off in the worst part of the city and let the chips fall where they may.

I do wish I'd seen that, but with as many commercials as they have, well, sounds like interesting content.

Of course it can be traced, I'm sure somebody is working on that... these are people probably from out of town wanting to make a statement.

Marcia Clark was just saying she wasn't sure that Casey is going to come into much money due to the outrage and anger towards her. People are saying that they won't buy anything that Casey has to sell. A lot of publishers might be sensitive to that and might feel that she's not a bankable commodity!

We can only hope!!!!

BTW, all those people you you mentioned who deserve credit just had their pay cut by 3% by the Governor of Florida who considers all State employees to be no different than welfare recipients on the public teat. Maybe you should write the governor about that...

What an extremely odd comment. What on earth was your point, and how does it pertain to Casey Anthony? And why should I write to the governor of a state in which I do not reside?

I can only guess that you just want to bash state employees for the sake of it. I was, before I retired, a state employee. And, believe you me, I earned less per hour as a salaried state employee than I do now as self-employed. My benefits from the state are quite nice, but not nearly as generous as my DH's (private/ 501(c)3 sector). I worked more overtime (without pay as an exempt employee) than most non-exempt folk would believe. Just for love of the job and the citizens I served.

Again, what an odd and badly informed post.
