Anyone have a review on Cape May Café character breakfast? We are staying at Dolphin and I think it makes more sense to go there since CM is so impossible to get, Cape May is closer and looks to be the same characters?

We went there last April and really really enjoyed it. While I love Chef Mickey's, Cape May was much quieter and the character interactions longer. They're dressed in beach outfits which is really cute! The food is your standard character breakfast buffet; pretty much the same as Chef Mickey's. A bonus of Chef Mickey's is the proximity to Magic Kingdom. It's a short, enjoyable walk. I love both restaurants and think you'll be happy with either!

Thanks for the review I think we are going to do a pool day that day so I was thinking we can walk from Dolphin and have breakfast then back to the hotel for a relaxing day at the hotel (I have 3 year old and 2 year old so nothing is truly relaxing!)

As you are staying at the Dolphin, I would definitely recommend Cape May! You will see Minnie, Goofy and Donald. It's super cute!

I would go with Cape May. We do like Chef Mickeys, but Cape May is our favorite breakfast on property and is a must do for us every trip. The buffet is great, the atmosphere is a little quieter than Chef Mickeys (IMO), and the characters are cute as they are dressed in beach wear.

I haven't been to chef mickeys, but cape may was our favorite breakfast when we went back in 2009. We'd do that one again in a heartbeat!

One more vote for Cape May, especially with where you are staying! We have done both, but the food, atmosphere, and character interaction are FAR better at Cape May in my opinion! We actually are making the trek over from CBR on our next trip! You will have fun no matter where you go!

Cape May gets great reviews... but just so you know, Mickey is NOT there, It's just Minnie, Goofy & Donald (decked in beach gear!)
