Does anyone know when they will announce who will be the story tellers? I can't find anything about it.. well, I can find plenty, just nothing for this year! ;)

I wish we'd been able to go to last year's to see Olmos, but we missed him. :(

I know the dining packages aren't going to be on sale until July or August per a reservation cast member so I'm assuming somewhere around there

Last year the preliminary list of narrators (and the package costs) came out about a month (I think) before the packages were released (July/August). The narrators can change--and some of the slots may be empty when they release the initial list.

Last year the packages went on sale July 26th.The narrators came out shortly before that and even then there were a few TBA that didn't get filled in till much later

Thank you, everyone!! As always, a gold mine of information!! :)

Thanks for asking, Op. we are hoping to attend for the first time this year.

Another question... I see that the package is either lunch or dinner. What about the performance times? Do you pick what time you want to see the performance or is that assigned randomly? Thanks

No, you pick which show you want to attend, and you'll be given a time frame during which can book your meal. For the 5:00 show, I believe your ADR time would be between 1:45 and 2:45 (and I mean that you can book anytime in that time frame, not that you would have to book for 1:45 and finish by 2:45), for the 6:45 show the time would be between 3:30 and 4:30 (which would be considered dinner), and for the 8:15 show the time would be between 5:00 and 6:00.

ETA: I just confirmed these time frames at easywdw.com (this post is from last year, but I would assume that it will be the same for this year.):

If you desire a particular restaurant from the participating restaurants, you can also ask for that restaurant and they will tell you what times are available. Unless you call very early (the first day) for a popular restaurant and show time, you may have to settle for a different show time in order to get that restaurant.
Last year we called the second day bookings were open and our first and second choice for restaurant and show was sold out. Since we prefer the last show of the evening, we settled for our third restaurant choice.

Thank you both!
