Can we book DDP for 2009 yet?

I tried calling MS in early August to book the DDP for our Jan '09 trip but couldn't add it then. At that time, my parents had just added the DDP to their AAA package and I thought I'd try. MS said they sometimes get the information later than other sources and to keep checking the DVC website. Just checked the website this evening and nothing.

Anyone else tried booking the DDP for 2009 lately?

I am wondering about vacations that begin in December and end in January. I asked to go on the Dining Plan, and that's noted on the reservation, and I've booked ADR's as if that were the case. The Dining plan covers Candelight Processional and Fantasmic, DDE doesn't. Does anyone have information regarding how that situation of cost of DDP was dealt with in the past over the New Year time?

From seeing other posts, I believe that what is in effect when you checkin covers will apply to the entire trip.

as of yesterday, they said they can't book it yet. I was speaking to MS, and they said there will be more changes, I asked how about appy or desert choice, not just desert. And they said that is brought up alot!!

I'm pretty sure that has been the case since the inception of DDP. The plan stays the same for the length of your stay...for better or worse.

The changes to DDP 2009 look like there is going to be a CS-only option for $29.99. I believe that will be 2 CS credits and 1 snack per night per person. I'm not sure about the kids price, but I'd guess $8-10.

It looks like the only change to the regular DDP is going to be a price increase to $39.99/$11.99 for kids. Neither the appetiser nor gratuity will be included.
