My DH is our "resident" nerd....yup he is an engineering nerd. He is a NERD and PROUD of it. He went to Harvard and in the Harvard Coop they have an entire section on NERDS. So we bought DH a window cling-on sticker that says in huge letters NERD PRIDE and he has it on the window next to his computer which is where he spends HOURS. He has a coffee mug that also says NERD PRIDE. He loves being called "engineering nerd", he actually smiles like one when we say it at the office.

Ahh..I am not going to complain...all his nerdiness (if that is a word) pays the bills.

Totally! A coworker was just calling me a nerd (all in good fun, of course). I admit that yesterday, I watched 2 different versions of Shakespeare's Hamet and followed along in the book both times! I always follow along with a Shakespeare movie.

On Saturday morning, I was completely enthralled by a show on the Science Channel (not Sci-Fi - although I do love that one, too) about Galileo, Newton, Einstein, and Hawking.

And the books I read...my other not-as-nice coworkers call me a pretentious snob. Awesome, I'm one step away from pompous *ss!

VP of the local robotics club.

And FYI,
A spreadsheet isn't a spreadsheet unless it has macros...I don't know how people survived before VBA. lol

Firstly, I'd say yes....Clay Aiken being one of my top identifying traits.

But secondly - I ditto the Excel spreadsheet addiction. I'm also big on laminating things when they're printed out.

LASTLY, however....

Um, you qualify if you start a thread on a Disney message board about being a nerd.
