Can I add a day to tickets w/o "re-booking" package?

I have a vacation package with free dining. I'd like to add a day to our park hoppers but I don't see how to do this online without clicking on the "Change Reservation" link on My Disney Experience. I'm terrified I'll try to make the change and lose my free dining package.

Any reassurance that I can do it online without losing the package? Should I call instead? I'd like to add the day to the tickets before my Fastpass window opens as the whole reason for adding a day is to make FP+ for one of the Pandora rides on an otherwise "rest" day for us.

I would call just to be safe, as I would be thinking the same as you, that I don't want to mess anything up accidentally.

We have always added a day to our hoppers after we get there. A day or two in to our stay I go down to the check in area and they help me add a day to the hopper.

Just call them. It's not at all a problem to add anything.....they will always take more money from you.

Just yesterday added a day to our park hoppers online by choosing "Change Reservation" and it didn't affect my free dining nor ADR's.

YES! Thank you so much. Because of your post, I got brave enough to try making the change online and it worked perfectly. I tried to call a couple of times but that automated recording mess takes forever to get through and then put on hold. . .I kept giving up before I actually talked to a live person.
