My DD18 and her friend (also 18) are wanting to use my points for spring break. Will they have any problems checking in or is it ok since they're 18?

I believe since they are both 18 there should be no problem. I just think there can't be anyone under 18 on the reservation. It should say online somewhere the age to stay in one of the rooms.

It is and has always been 18. In fact, not only can an 18 year old check in, the master declaration states that the minimum age for ownership is 18. So she can buy her own deed if she really likes it! (It's just money, right?)

I can actually speak from experience on this because I once called and asked the same question and checked in, myself, when I was 18. :)

For my DD when she was 18, I booked a 16, 2 - 17s, and her in a room by themselves. My DD checked in for all of them without any issues.

As noted, at least one has to be 18. Be aware you will be responsible. For those looking at RCI, often the age is much higher, as high as 25.

With the ability to check in online, getting your magic bands in the mail, and getting a text when your room is ready, I suppose any aged person could get into their room. As long as the reservation was made by an 18 year old this could happen. I hope this isn't something that becomes problematic.
