Camping in january

So bummed! Thought for sure we could get an rv site for jan 2-7, thought everyone was going home from the holidays and the marathoners weren't quite there yet! Boy was I wrong! Can't find anything except cabins at the fort is that week really crazy? Looking for advice

Keep trying. It will happen. People cancel all the time. Many of us FL Residents stay out there at that time. The weather is great, the kids are out of school (still...in our county), and the price is right (value season).

You may have to piece it together a day here and there. We did that last year at that time.

Are you calling? You can only book online thru 2013.

We tried and tired on line with the same result you are getting. You may want to try calling. One call to reservations and we are in starting January 5 for 11 nights!!

Well I am calling them this morning. I know you can only get room only for 2014 but I still can't get anything to work online. Those dates of jan 5 I tried exactly

2014 dates can't be reserved online until the 2014 rates are officially set later this summer. A phone call now will get you a 2014 ressie at 2013 rates. Once 2014 rates are set, your ressie will convert to the newer rates.

That is why Disney keeps raising the price. We own DVC points and for the past 4 or 5 years have trouble getting reservations at any resorts. Point cost for renting has increased over 30% and is not stoping people from remting. I have booked up to 1 year ahead for the fort.
