I am planning our disney wedding and we will be having a buffet reception. They have said that they can do pretty much anything that is served on WDW property so my question is.....

what dinner (appetizer, main course/entree) items would you recommend?

Pheasant appetizer from California Grill
Buffalo Steak from Artist Point or Glazed Salmon (can't remember where)
Hot and Cold Souffle from Bistro Di Paris

The cheese soup from Le Cellier as an appetizer!

Pot Stickers from Kona Cafe for appetizer.
Pork Loin medallions with Angel Hair pasta from Tony's Town Square.

Cheese soup from Le Cellier/ Pot Stickers, Lo Mein, and Sticky Wings from Ohana/ Egg Rolls and Pot Stickers from 9 Dragons

Canton Pepper Beef and Peppery Shrimp with Spinach Noodles from 9 Dragons/ NY Strip from Le Cellier/ Pot Roast from 50s PTC/ Mac and Cheese and Vegetarian Lasagna from Chefs de France/ Slow Roasted Adobo Pork and Ancho Chile Rubbed Atlantic Salmon from Crystal Palace

Sorbet- Chefs de France/ Smores and Creme Brulee- Le Cellier/ Strawberry Red Bean and Carmel Ginger Ice Cream from 9 Dragons

I hope i gave you enough options :lmao: Good Luck :thumbsup2

I was going to try to come up with something of my own, but this sounds like a pretty great start. I'll second this or something like it.

Oh that would be exciting to plan!! Good for you! ;)

I would have start with Ohana's salad, followed by the cheddar soup from LeCellier.
Entree would also come from LeCellier....the salt crusted Prime Rib with cream cheese mashed potatoes.
And to finish off....back to Ohana for the banana bread pudding with carmel sauce!! Oh my gosh.......I am drooling over the keyboard.

Other entrees would be the mushroom ravioli from Tony's as the veggie entree.
Brown Derby's Cobb salad for another appy.
Also Brown Derby's grapefruit cake for a dessert.

Cali. Grill's Pan roasted Halibut for the fish entree
From Narcossee's, would be the surf and turf....mmmm.
And the Tanglewoods farm Chicken breast.

Wow what a reception would that be with all that great food!!!

UGH, think I may pass out.....
