Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!!

Andy, I hope Hazel's sister is doing better. I spent the day painting my downstairs bathroom. My husband and son took care of dinner prep at the restaurant, and I do not have to go until 6, when my dad will join us for a feast. I hope everyone has a great day and I know I am thankful for all the great people I have met on this board and got to meet in person in August.

Andy: So sorry to hear about Hazel's sister I hope she'll be alright. Any news??

Jeff: I haven't taken a look at your pictures yet, but I'm sure you did a great job with them! I'll save the site and take a look when I have the time to really relax and enjoy them.


My sister, BIL, and great-niece (age 7) are up visiting from NJ and we've been having so much fun. We took them to Plymouth yesterday, and Aliyah got to see Plymouth Rock for the very first time. She was very excited because she'd just been learning about it in school. We also took her aboard the Mayflower II which is an exact replica of the original. It was built in England, using the same exact plans as the Mayflower, and sailed here to Plymouth. They have re-enactors on the ship and they were a lot of fun to listen to, and to ask questions of. They're in full costume and take on the personality and history of people who were actually on the Mayflower.

I hope everyone is doing well, and enjoying any time off of work that you may have! I know that I'm enjoying this 4-day weekend

P.S. We've cancelled our Disney cruise for February. Many issues came up a couple of weeks ago, mostly issues concerning changes where John works, so that trip is being post-poned, possibly to next summer. We're very disappointed, but we know there will be more Disney cruises in our future, and we still have our Royal Caribbean cruise next October to look forward to.

Hazel's sister Lisa was released from the hospital yesterday afternoon, she is looking to be moving in with a friend of hers as she is afraid of living alone. Lisa is still hoping to get a kidney transplant, then the heart surgery she really needs can be done.

Angelina had her first "full day" on the new job at Limitied Too on Black Friday. She was scheduled for 1pm-6pm. I arrived at the mall at 5:45 to pick her up, just as I arrived Angelina was calling me let me know that the manager asked her if she could work until 8:30. It was funny, Angelina didn't know I was in the hallway in front of the store when she called, when she turned around, she saw me standing there right behind her. I gave her a few bucks so she could get something to eat, then told her I would be back at 8:30 to pick her up. When I got to the store at 8:30, Angelina said she was ready to go home as her feet were killing her, she goes back in today at 1pm, yes, she is still sleeping as I type this.

Angelina did say that she really enjoyed her first day at work!!!!!!!

Thanks, Terry. Russell goes back to the allergist this week, after vacation, and gets the results of his testing. I sure hope they find something, so we know how to deal with this problem.

Just finished the bathroom and hall project. Painting, and papering, now off to the Sunday paper

I just got the Christmas tree up, now it just needs to be decorated. Because Angelina's cat was climbing up the tree last year (knocked it over a couple of times), we decided to get a new 4' tree this year and put it on top of our entertainment center, now the cat can't get to it, and I think she is mad at us, LOL!!!

We put up the outside lights yesterday and today we will start the tree,

Two cats and a dog cant seem to leave the tree alone

So far so good, I now have a new full leg brace. So far its locked in full extention. Thrusday I go back to the doctor and he may set it for 20 deg bend

Then every week or 2 another 20 deg until 60 deg then I will start physical theapy.

I have figured out a way to get behind the wheel and I can now drive my car again, so the cabin fever isnt so bad

Then, after I went to the Christmas Tree Shoppe, my car died. So I called Doreen to send Marty, we thought maybe it was just out of gas, but he could not get it going, so AAA came to my rescue and now "Belle" is at the garage awaiting some repair work tomorrow. I hope everyone has a good week. No snow yet.
