I'm feeling a little better today, but now that the medication is wearing off I'm starting to feel the pain again. In a few minutes I'll take my night-time dose and will be knocked out until the morning. lol

My computer crashed on Saturday and I lost EVERYTHING. So now I don't have anyone's email addresses or anything. If you want, please send me an email so that I can begin to fill my address book again. In fact, until just now, I'd been signing on using the laptop, but John put a new hard drive in my computer so even though I'm back on my "own" computer, it just doesn't feel like it. I've lost everything that I had saved on there for the last several years Ah well, it's just data, right?

I'll be home from work tomorrow, and hopefully will feel well enough to go back on Thursday.

Oh, the weather outside is frightful, but the fire inside's delightful!!!

Just getting ready to watch Grey's Anatomy, have a great fire going in the wood stove, and if I didn't have be up early for work, the bottle of wine would be great, but I'll settle for a water. I hope all are doing well, and Ed, I hope your recovery is coming along just fine.

We are gettting a snow storm of LAKE EFFECT today off Lake Onterio that is coming off some lake from Canada...Can you say SNOW DAY???

Christmas shopping is all done here as far as Hazel and I are concerned!!! We are having our family (my side) Christmas party on the 16th at my brother Chuck's house.

Business has been rather slow at Limited Too this week, Angelina has only worked 4 hours, but she is scheduled for 4 more hours tomorrow. It's a bit dissapointing for her, but she sees what the working world is like, no business equals no work. I can't say the same thing about my job, I'm working like crazy to get all the meter readings done ASAP. I have off the week between Christmas and New Year's, so all my work needs to be done by 12/22. I've been so busy I haven't even had time to get Christmas cards ready for mailing yet. I usually have them out in the mail by now, but I didn't even make a design for the cards at this point.

I guess that's all the latest news for now.

So, I've been posting on my favorite bands message boards for a while now and everyone hates me on it, what should I do? (by the way my favorite band is called The Early November).

here is what someone on the board messaged to me, she say's I think I am a know-it-all about TEN and everything, which I haven't even been it just got me mad and I like all you people so I'm venting her

the jig is up. we all know it's you. and we're sick of it. you post the most pointless things and we don't need all of that clogging up the message board. not to mention you think that you're a f****** know-it-all about not only TEN, but everything. if you're really from newton, i know for a fact that the closest wawa is AT LEAST 2 hours away. when i go to work at my camp, i drive through the entire town of newton and it takes me almost an hour and a half to get there. and i would assume that the wawa you go to is either on RT 9 or RT 18, therefore they're about 20-30 mins from MY HOUSE, therefore adding another hour onto your journey.

and if you're REALLY 18, and have REALLY been following TEN "since the beginning", as you so kindly put it in your introduction, then you would have had to be 13-14 getting a ride to central/south jersey to see them. which i HIGHLY doubt happened. i started listening to them when i was 16, and i am now 21, which is 5 years, if you can't do the math. the first time i saw them was in 2002, and i just happened to stumble upon them opening for another band, and i wasn't even aware that they were playing the show. not to mention the show was in vineland, which is an easy 2 hour drive from me, which would make it an almost four hour drive from you.


you really should have just not come back at all.
i don't like being mean, but when someone is a know-it-all, much like you..
i need to set the record straight.

It's been a busy morning for me already. I got up at 5am and started doing the laundry, load #3 is in the washer and load #2 is in the dryer. Angelina works today from 1 to 5, and Hazel has a baby shower to attend today, also from 1 to 5. With just one car, I will be playing taxi driver today, LOL!!!

I gave in and ordered photo Christmas cards online from Walmart last evening. I've been having some problems with my printer (Santa is giving me a new printer for Christmas ), so I'm taking it a little easier this year. I selected a photo that was taken of the three of us during our May 2006 cruise. With all the pics I take all year, this was the only pic that we had taken together of just the three of us. While I'm waiting for the cards to come in, I can start getting the envelopes ready for mailing.

Oh, it's time to change loads in the washer, have a great weekend everyone!!!

Julia.....I second what Andy said. People are unbelievably rude on the internet and some people just love to pick a fight. If you wish to continue to post on that site then just put those people on the ignore feature. And you may want to take a break from that mb, too.

I was a regular on other mb's until some of the posters started constantly fighting with each other and they dominated all the posts. So I took a break from visiting the site.

I like that the mods on this site do an excellent job of keeping things on topic and closing threads that get out of hand.

Boy, this cold weather is getting me in the Christmas spirit. We just went and got our tree this afternoon. There is a small Christmas tree farm not too far from here. We know exactly what size tree to get - one that is as tall as DH.

Just about finished Christmas shopping. Now I have to wrap everything.

Ski season starts for us next Saturday. My ankle has healed enough that I can do some light running on it. Nice thing about skiing is that your ankles are locked down tight in the ski boot.

Terry.....sorry to hear about the pinched nerve. Anything to do with the neck and back I go straight to a chiropractor. Too often doctors just prescribe pills without finding about the cause of the problem.

And I'm sorry to hear you cancelled your Wonder trip. I was looking forward to hearing about your experience as we're going on the Wonder in August.

Doreen.....ah yes, you get all that Lake effect snow. Yes, the wind was just howling one night this week. The wind had that sound that you know is just brutally cold.

Ed....your progress is being measured in degrees. I cannot even imagine still being in a brace right now. You must be going mad.

Can't believe today is the last of the double dip cruises. This itinerary certainly has been a home run for DCL.

Secondly, thanks for the condolences on canceling the Wonder cruise. lol Our WDW annual passes expire on May 11th of next year so I'm hoping to plan a trip down there before then. Especially since we've already paid for the airfare. lol Have fun skiing this year!! (I know you won't be that cold but it was the only wintery smiley I could find. LOL)

I'll be spending a few days between Christmas and New Year's visiting with my mom in Florida. I got my plane tickets the other day, flying out on Christmas morning for only $99.00, now that my mom has a nice new heat pump for the mobile home, I don't have to worry about freezing to death this time, LOL!!! My mom told me the heat pump is working just fine!!!

I told Angelina she can get up at 3am on Christmas morning so she can open her gifts, because I have the airport shuttle service picking me up between 7 and 7:15am, my flight leaves at 9:30am with a short layover in Atlanta.

My Christmas gift (new printer) arrived from Santa a couple of weeks early on Saturday afternoon. I was very busy last night printing off 100 copies of our family newsletter and printing off mailing envelopes. Once the photo cards arrive from Walmart I can put them in the envelopes and get them in the mail later this week. I have to get a new black ink cartridge already, as it is more than half way empty.

Just got back from NYC

We has gotten tickets back in June for the Xmas show at Radio City Music Hall
While the leg has a long way to go to be 100 % It has enough flexabilty to allow use to see the show and the xmas tree and the xmas windows On fifth ave.

It was worth the trip and minor discomfort

Glad you enjoyed the Rockette's show. We did that one year as my husband's Christmas party. All the employees and families were invited to go by bus and see the show and have a day. It was great! Have not been back since, but someday....

And also glad the leg held out for you to enjoy.

Our cards will be going out in the next day or two, I just had to order 25 more photo cards from Walmart. All three of us have been fighting head colds the past few days. Angelina missed school and I missed work today. I think Hazel's niece brought the germs into our house last week, the little stinker.

This week started the week of moms never ending taxi and chasing.. Volley balls games, Christmas concerts,work, more volleyball and another band concert. HELP... how can you split yourself in2 or 3,,lol

LAst night I made a meatloaf dinner with mashed potatoes, gravy and cookies for 20 girls before the game. Normally, we parents would split the cost of it all and split the main dish, dessert, drink, paper goods.. but this yr the parents and slacked off. The poor girls eat lunch at 1030-1230 and the games ended at 10pm. Thats a long time to go with out food... So I brought in the whole thing.. The girls and the coaches loved it... They played well and won one set...

Ok time to get my list shortened.. Take care everyone. Anything about the dates for the August Cruise yet??

I finished all my finals and don't have classes till january, I'll be working till I start classes again. On Thursday the 21st I have to go to a driving class, I'll be glad when that is done and on the 22nd I'll be meeting with a bunch of friends from school and we are going back to talk to the seniors about college. So my life will be pretty busy till then.
