Hi everyone,

For once, I lucked out. In March, I booked airfare on Southwest for 4 returning from Orlando at $79 each. I thought it was a good price. I just was online and saw the same flight etc was only $49 one way instead. I called SW and they credited all the original funds back to me and walked me thru rebooking it online and I have $120 credit towards future flights. YEA! It pays to re check the prices.

Hi Guys

Signing on from a very very hot and steamy UK. It has been in the 80's today and I am in dire need of some air con, which nobody over here really has, anyway the portable fan is getting its twice yearly outing and the breeze is just wonderful.

Fantastic pic of you all from your little meet, and I am sure there will be many more to come in August. You know being all the way over here in the UK , I thought I would feel a little out of it, but you might just as well all be around the corner from me. How great is it to make such wonderful friendships on the boards. God bless the Internet is all I can say.

Cant wait to meet all my new friends in August and all my other cruise buddys next year. I am so looking forward to this forthcoming trip, I have 2 mini dis meets, with you guys and with my friend Karen and family (miffy2003), who I have yet to meet, but feel as though I have known her for years. Thats the beauty of these boards.

Sue--we are in the low 90's here today and headed for the mid 90's the next few days, but thankfully, we have central air, it's a cool 78 degrees here in our house, come on over cool down.

I was sitting here with the windows open and fans on, Wondering why I was hot. Geee over 90 outside, while its only Hot not Humid (yet), time to turn on the window AC's.

I just got out of another loooong weekend at school. It's so nice to come on here & catch up on how everyone is doing & dream dream dream about the cruise!

Andy thanks for doing the countdown while Terry is away. It's always nice to see how "close" we are getting.

Sue So glad to hear you & your family are safe! Very scary!!! I will be arriving at POP on the 23rd. I will be keeping my eyes out for you so don't be surprised if someone you don't know comes up to you and says Hi!

I just wanna say... ya'll are making it hard to wait until December for our next WDW trip. I hope you all have a super great time and remember all us who will have to wait a WHOLE YEAR to meet you all.... :::: Pout :::::

On the upside for our December trip I booked Hoop De do 18 months out!!!! Think we will be up front??

And I suppose we have our first DCL trip planned in September.... which will make us Castaway Club memebers..... Should we arrange our first DIS meet in the Castaway club boarding area for the August 2006 cruise????

Weather here is lower 90's also, but in the pool.... nice and cool. Gosh I love our pool. We only have 3 months or so to enjoy it and we sure do. The girls have been bugging me for a pool party. UGH lots of work, and I am a nervous nelly with other children swimmming in our pool. (I am nervous about my kids, but I am also keenly aware of their swimming abilities)

Anyone a Big Brother 6 fan?? I have the live feed but havent watched it much. Too many people, cant tell who anyone is yet. LOL Did find out who won POV yesterday..... and have a pretty good idea who will be booted next week.

And the reason I have no time (besides the pool) I am working on T-shirts for my May mom cruise on Carnival in October.

ANDY... you have me hooked! Is there a minimum on the site you are using for the Crusin Castaways... I notice you have it set up to offer all sorts of items from tshirts to tank tops. Does that cost more? What are the size requirements for the pattern to fit on several options... thanks.
Sue.... sorry to hear your so hot over there. I grew up with just fans. We would have a cool bowl of water and a rag for dipping, whist sitting infront of the fan. My day would say evaporation is the most effeicent way to cool the body down. Us kids just thought he was cheap.

Laura--I just made my design with my Print Shop program then saved it in My Pictures file. I then sent the design to CafePress.com and uploaded the design and selected what products I wanted the design on. I did have to make a few adjustments of the design on some of the products, so if you use them, make sure to see that the design fits in each product that you choose before you finish. I'm using the free membership, so it's one design per store. I also have a store open for the August 2005 repo cruise, that I was supposed to be on. It's fun, just take your time and I'm sure you will do well with it.

Just beware. CafePress and a few others are now checking for copyright items. They rejected my designs even though I had customized it with my design work. so I finnaly printed my own and made up our teeshirts,

Last year it wouldnt have been a problem.

Can't believe I made my hotel reservations for Disney but didn't even have all our reservations for our vacation starting this Saturday. O.k you know where my priorities are. It is all done finally !! We had to get 2 rooms for each stay........one for the girls and the other for the boys. We start out Saturday to the catskills to see my Grandfather and staying at a Bed & Breakfast. Sunday Afternoon we head halfway to Gatlinburg with a hotel stay then to Pigeon Forge for another stay. We get to Gatlingburg to stay at a Condo for 3 days. We split the trip back and get home on Saturday. I hope I have the energy for this trip.

Laura: You know I am a BB6 fan. I opted out on the live feed. You can keep me updated on anything juicy.

Barb: Didn't see that movie..........We did see War of the Worlds. That was pretty cool.

Sue: Hope you get some sleep. Same weather as Andy into the 90's this week. I don't want to say anything bad about all this heat in fear I will be complaining how cold it is before you know it.

I have a mini vent here that I feeel guilty about...

First... I keep thinking about the DISer that died on CC on the Repo cruise (I know I know it isnt suppose to be mentioned, but I still think about it) Has anyone come forth and made an announcement? One poster said, those who should know, know. Well... there isnt a day that goes by that I dont wonder who it was... not a single day. Did I miss this?

Second... Que. Apparently he is gone... and no one wants to share any details. Some posters have gone as far as saying forget about it move on... when a simple question about Que is asked.... Ooooh oooh you better move on... I dont know... seems like a simple question....

ANyway... sorry to vent.... just in one of those moods I guess.

Well, it's Monday morning and the start of another work week. This week I'll be reading all the business meters in town. I really dread doing these because they take so long to do. We have several industrial parks in our town, and with the hightened security it's unbelievable how long it takes me to get in and out of some of these buildings. Oh well, what can I say, it's my job and I have to get it done.

Nov 03 we were Castaway Club members but didnt know it until we got to our room! Nice surprise
We had a cruise booked/cancelled Nov 02 so they must have had us on their list.
We received the plus Castaway Club DCL towel and invite to the CC party so of course we had to attend!

Andy: I was watching my DD get the mail just now and she had this huge on her face as she was clutching the box to her. Now mind you Chuck gets boxes ALL the time for work. I asked her who is it for? She says it's for you and it's from Verandah Man. She says proudly I know what it is.......It's your shirt open it up. Well that was my thrill for today. The shirt looks great !! I wan't to wear it but will wait till next month. By the way shouldn't I wash it inside out?

It does state on the iron-on transfer package that it's a good idea to wash it inside out at least for the first washing, but Hazel never did that with our shirts.

I made it through the day today, but my right knee is killing me. I got all the meters that are in pits or along the curb line because of the pending rain later this week. All this bending up and down, and climbing in and out of the pits (6 feet deep) took a toll on my knee. We are already short handed at work, so I wasn't able to get anyone to help me. Hey, I've only got 4 years 10 and 1/2 months to go until retirement, LOL!!!
