Good morning everyone! I need to thank everyone for all the well wishes in the very difficult time for MARTY and I.. it goes way beyond the death of his mom.. but I will not go into to that here.. It means so much to have great friends here on the DIS boards to share things with. We can't wait to meet everyone on board...
Marty and I will go through so much tomorrow.. yet its MARTYS Bday tomorrow... YIPPIE What a day it will be for him...

TERRY.. it was great talking to you.. I will see you in AUGUST>.

HAPPY to say I did get my package out yesterday.. and my family should get it by MONDAY or TUESDAY. ( I HOPE).. pleae forgive me with the lateness..

I just made my final payment of our second cabin. I think we can start making ressie tomorrow (Castaway Club). Is that right?

As long as you are a CC member (returning cruiser) you can start booking onlilne reservations (excursions, palo, spa, flounders) at 3:00 AM if you are so inclinded to stay up or wake up at that time.

Basically the 90th day officially starts at midnight, but when DCL started online registration they decided to give equal time to the west coasters so they wait for midnight to pass on the west coast hence the 3:00 AM start time for us on the east coast.

I am with you on the 11:00 PM thing. Last year was funny, Sarah was fussing around 2:30 AM so I gave her a bottle, waited for her to finish, tucked her in and....no....I didn't go back to sleep like a normal person I turned on my computer and registered for Palo and Flounders. I need help...luckily I usually get it here from this "support group".

Getting closer! Anyone have teens here who are doing the Wild Side on CC? If so, which day? Josh (13) wants to do this; I think I'll book the first CC stop, in case anything happens to cancel it on CC1, maybe he can catch it on CC2!

Hi everyone

I have an appointment for an interview at a temp agency for this coming Monday morning. I am so nervous! LOL I haven't worked in a business atmosphere in over 18 years. Even when I was working for our accountant, it was an extremely casual setting because her office is in her home.

Anyway... I *have* to do this and make it work so that there'll be no question about us being on this cruise. <---(trying to psych myself up for this! lol)

So.... anyone going to be staying up late (or getting up early) to book something on the DCL web site?? If so, what do you plan on booking this weekend???

Well, I am sure I will be awake anyway.. but TERRY are we still up for the COZUMEL beach break?
PARASAILING, and perhaps the CC teen thing.. but are they still doing that if we leave at 4pm??

And if we book it tonight can we always cancel it too?

Doreen - I just read on DCL's site that all excursions are refundable up until 2 days before your vacation starts. I will be staying up.

I think that I am going to book the stingrays at CC and the Fury Catamaran in Cozumel. Although I have been reading really good things about Paradise Beach in Cozumel and started to think about changing my mind. I wish I knew what time the Fury excursion starts. I would also like to shop some in Cozumel. I think that I am just going to go into the village and park my butt on the beach in Costa Maya.

What is everybody else doing?

Doreen: If you wanted to do the " PARASAILING " with me, Chuck & Bev we are signed up for 2nd Castaway stop at 10:30 if that works out for you. Would like it if you and who ever else wants to joins us.


Linda:The Fury Catamaran starts at 12:30 so you would probaly have to do shopping before you go? I haven't made any real plans yet.......I was leaning on the side of Paradise Beach and shopping. I have to get my Vanilla & Kahlua to bring back home.

Linda the Fury CATAMARAN starts at 1230pm mtg time.. according to the PASSPORTERS book.

I will do that and the PARASAILING at CC.. with the family.. and the same as you are doing at COSTA MAYA.

We'll be booking Fury Cat in Cozumel, nothing planned yet for Costa Maya. I was planning on enjoying the ship on Costa Maya day, but the beaches look so pretty, maybe we'll do a short trip on our own there.

When booking excursions don't forget about the "2 for" packages for things like floats, snorkel gear, and bicycles. You pay one price and you get to use the stuff on both days at CC.

Just have to add my 2 cents. We went to Paradise beach in February and it was so much fun. You buy bracelets for $8.00 each and that includes the iceberg, the trampoline in the water and the kayaks. There may be other things I am forgetting but I don't think so. For $10.00, you can do the bungee trampoline, the kids had soooo much fun on it and us adults had sooo much fun rooting them on to tumble while airborne. FUN

The $8 also includes the floating mats

I already made my reservations at the 105 day mark . I did my 3:00 wake up call already. It wasn't pretty either let me tell ya

And I thought I was crazy. The 105 day mark is only for people in Cat 1, 2, and 3 staterooms which there are only about 20 suites so you got up/stayed up until 3:00 AM to be the first one overall?!?!

I actually just finalized my palo, excursion, flounder (no spa) reservations today because I didn't feel the need to hurry with only 19 other staterooms eligible to book.

But I understand your point; I'm starting to question whether I really want to stay up until 3am tonight or not.
