Cake Pop Maker $1.99 at Kohls!!!

Just letting everyone know that if you submit the rebate do not get your hopes up to get the ten bucks back. Kohls noticed their problem and since its an store issued rebate they CAN refuse to give it to you.

I was referring to this person...no one else. Just seemed a little bit sour...JMHO of course :goodvibes no hard feelings I was just speaking my mind. If I get the rebate~fantastic if not well then I still got a pretty good deal :)

I can only speak for myself here but i am anything but "sour" or a "negative nelly" i simply posted what the man from Kohl's customer service (the company, not my store) said on the phone about the orders being in the process of being cancelled and as i mention in my post I wasn't sure how valid that really was or if he was just trying to come up with reasons why he wasn't going to sell it to us for that price. I bought one in the store and after my rebate at 20% off it will be $10 and that's good enough for me (obviously $2 would have been great - but i'm not going to be greedy). I posted what the man said so that no1 would miss out on what was still going to be a good deal since the receipts have to have today or yesterdays date on them for the rebate to be valid. I didn't want any one to think they had a product and then be told they were going to cancel it - especially if someone is giving it as a gift. I went through that with JC Penny on black friday, the had the rebates for the donut makers and cake pop machines - i ordered them both online, no problems. A little over a week later i checked the status because it was taking a long time to ship just to find out it was back-ordered til JANUARY! the rebate had to be mailed in by Dec 18th! They didn't e-mail or call - if I didn't check I would have been out of luck. I'm a bit offended that my intentions are being questioned over something so silly. :confused3

oh no! I didnt mean to offend anyone...honest.

Well.....this budget board made me order one.

I don't need one.

I've got a ton of kitchen electrics.

You all made me buy a crockpot last year.

I've never cooked anything in a crockpot.

But I have one in a box that's brand new condition.

I saw this deal on Slickdeals yesterday.

Went to the Kohl's site and dropped one in my shopping cart.

Then decided I needed two.

Then common sense took over and I closed up the window.

Today I start reading this thread.

Back to my Kohl's cart and the baby is still there!

Except I didn't read far enough to get the 20% code. Instead I used a 10% code and xmasfree for the shipping.

So, 14.30 and I printed out the rebate and got an order confirmation.

4.30 if I get the rebate honored (if the thing ever arrives.

And if it arrives, will we ever take it out of the box??

I don't need one, don't really care that I didn't get it at the honored price, it's going to gather dust in my cabinet if I do get it. I worked at Kohls, and still have plenty of friends who still work there. I know how they work, they have and can refuse to give you a rebate. I was responding to an earlier post that asked if they can legally refuse to give you the rebate.

For those that still have these saved in your shopping bags ~ I was just able to successfully purchase three of them. :cool1: I'm not holding my breath but if they come great - I can return the ones I got today.

When I paid at the register I was given 2 rebate receipts and 2 rebate slips to fill out, plus I need to cut the code off of the boxes.

My question is -- Should I send these both in the same envelope or are people sending both sets of paperwork in the same envelope since 2 rebates are allowed per household?

I've been burned so many times on rebates, that I don't want to mess up. So how is everyone else going to mail their forms in -- one or two envelopes?

PS -- I'm going to make cake pops with my class as part of our holiday party in school on Friday. I'll let the kids dip their pops into the melted chocolate and then in sprinkles. Should be fun. The other cake pop maker will be a Christmas gift.

they have and can refuse to give you a rebate.
I am just wondering on what grounds you think they will refuse. Because refusing on the grounds that they made a mistake in posting it at that price is not legal.

Just got one online. Thanks! I tried last night and it was sold out. $14.99, XMASFREE (free shipping), 20% code, $4.80 left on a gift card- came to $7.94 for me:) If I get the $10 back great. If not, still a great price. We will use it too. :thumbsup2

I was able to get one online as well. It was in my cart from last night:thumbsup2

Thanks! Mine were still in my cart and I got all checked out this time! It will be a great gift for DH's office swap.

Bah hahahaha!!!

Well, part of my order shipped, but not the Babycakes. I hope they don't cancel it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Mine was shipped too:thumbsup2:cool1:

Mine too. Quite a deal. Thanks SO VERY MUCH OP! I have been reading some of the reviews online and had no idea how much could be done with them. Lots of things other than cake pops can be made with them.

Looks like they found their error. The price has now been adjusted to $24.99. Glad I got them when they were $10 cheaper.
