Cake Pop Maker $1.99 at Kohls!!!

Doesn't anyone feel at least a little dishonest, with trying the "deal" on a different shift and such? :confused3 Once the store manager explains the issue and it's obvious the machine was never meant to be $2, I'd just move along.

I actually got one last night online and I spoke to a manager at the online center. It is meant to be $14.99 on sale it is not a misprint or a mistake. Often stores will offer deals like this counting on the fact that you won't actually send the rebate in.

My Kohls had the cake pop makers stacked in the middle of the aisle. On top of
the stack was a printed sign that said 2-day sale, reg. 29.99 on sale for 14.99. Rang up 14.99 at register, no problem.

I agree. It's no mistake.

I had no idea they were that cheap until I got there. My store had them marked $14.99 and I didn't have to fight anyone to get it for that price. I think if it had been a mistake, they would have changed the price online and then sent a memo out to the stores to also change their price. I do agree that they figure most people will forget about the rebate. $11.99 was still a great price.

Aleady sent my rebate in for the2 I bought yesterday, when the other one is shipped to me, I will send that in....hey I want my $10 back lol

You might have to use another mailing address. According to the rebate form from the web-site states: Limit 2 per person per model number purchased per household.

And thanks for the free shipping code!!

I was just going to say the same thing. :thumbsup2

Yup. Happened to me on luggage one year. I didn't read the fine print and it was 1 per address so I didn't get the second one.

Checked this morning online, they were still out. Headed to my local store with internet price printout, and the manager honored it. Just checked online, they are back in stock. The 20% off coupon expired yesterday.

i called kohl's last night because i was able to put a machine in my cart for $14.99 but it wouldn't let me check out. So after a long conversation with a guy in CS he said that "it was a mistake - they were sold out -stores should NOT be price matching for $14.99 - and all orders placed were in the process of being canceled." Don't know how true that all is (or if he was just trying to come up with reasons to not let me order it) but if you got yours online last night i'd call and double check! you don't want to miss out since the rebate is only good for ones bought today and tomorrow. $10 after 20% off and a rebate still isn't bad, i mean its not $2! but it's still pretty good in my book.
there were woman in my store yesterday trying to convince the cashier (who was obviously new for the holidays!) that the rebate was instant and they were demanding they get the $10 now and i felt really bad for the girl because it's obvious that it is NOT an instant rebate - they just looked like a bunch of bully's! happy to report they didn't get the $10 off because a manager came over and explained to them that it didn't work that way. I'm all for getting a good deal but i'm not going to bully someone to get it!

I haven't tried this code, but retailmenot.com says CC20DEC12 says it will give you 20% until 12/13. If they happen to be available online, maybe that code will work.

It denied me twice and then went through so i am not confident I will get it. I used a 20% off code and a free shipping code.

Here's hoping it goes through I just bought it on-line. I used the new code above and the XMASFREE shipping code, it worked so hopefully they won't cancel it :yay:

Question though, how do you do the rebate with an online order?

I just ordered one online and used the free shipping and 20% off codes with no problem. Total cost was $12.54 and I'll submit for the $10 rebate. Thanks for the heads-up everyone! :thumbsup2

I did one from a BF sale. I printed the rebate online and when my order came, I used the packing slip that came in the box. Hope that was correct!

I just ordered it online using the 20% and free shipping
When I click the link to get the rebate form it does not go through?
Does anyone have a copy of the form saved?
Thanks!

I was able to order one of these just now online using the code for free shipping and 20% off. After the rebate and tax it will have cost me just $2.71. Thanks so much op!
