When you enter you will see a sign. They can ask and sometimes do for ID and a signature for certain tickets. Like the Flex Pass and the Bonus Pass. When we last used the flex pass we signed almost every time we entered. They will match the signature on back of your ticket to the one you sign in front of them. I dont recall being asked for ID any other time but when we first activated them.
I don't think they ask kids to show IDs. As scary as the thought may be, some 16 year olds have driver's licenses. Adults may be more likely to produce ID than kids and teens, though.
I called Universal and they said no proof of ID is needed if I get the passes sent to my house... I specifically asked what I would need to do to get them working and they simply said I could go straight in to the parks w/out showing an ID or signing anything... And that the ID's would stop working five days after I used them first... I asked about validating also and they said its not needed... I think they only need that stuff if you pick the tickets up at Universal .... If not then I am even more confused than before
I called them too and that is not what they told me. They said that I showing my nonphoto DL from NJ is okay but I will be asked to sign when I enter the parks. They said that children to not need to show ID. But they said that this is when they are with their parents. I'm sure the rules change as the wind does.
I was afraid of that... I talked to two different people at Universal Vacations and they both told me there was no need for this... now im all confused...what number did you call?
