Bringing baseballs into the park?

My family is seeing a spring training game at WWoS, and we're planning on going to Epcot before and after the game. We wanted to bring a few baseballs in case there's the opportunity to get them signed - I know they aren't listed as restricted items, but it still feels strange to bring baseballs into the park. Will they raise any eyebrows at security? Thanks!

I'm not sure, but I would think it would be ok...especially since the ESPN-related gift shop outside the gates likely sells baseballs.

Totally off the subject, but one thing you CANNOT bring in to Champion Stadium is umbrellas. I went on an iffy day and there was a table with literally hundreds of umbrellas that couldn't be brought in. You could get it back on the way out as long as no one else grabbed yours first.

No strollers either inside the stadium. If you get there really early (8-10am), you have access to all of the minor league players and some of the mlb pitchers who will not be playing that day on the backfields behind right field. I was there one day 2 years ago and even saw nfl guys working out on one of the fields.

Since they sell Disney baeballs in the gift shop, I'd guess you would be ok with them in your bag. They are no more a danger than a metal water bottle etc.

Are you asking about bringing baseballs into Epcot or WWoS?

You will be fine at both.:)

Maybe they're scared of.......THE PENGUIN!

shouldn't be a problem. Especially if you explain the reasoning. Now, if you were attending a basketball game and had a regulation size basketball, I could see them turning you away!

I had the opportunity to go to a couple games at Champion Stadium last weekend. No problem bringing in baseballs...in fact I saw a couple people that had bags with about 10 balls each that I assume they were trying to get signed (I'm assuming they were professional signature collectors).

And to follow up on my earlier comment concerning umbrellas, there were signs walking in from the parking lot advising that umbrellas are not allowed in the stadium.

Is it no Strollers just inside of Champion Stadium or in all of WWoS? We are coming for a youth Baseball tournament in May and I know some moms will want a stroller to get the kids all the way back to the youth fields..

That is awesome! I love collecting autographs! I use to go to school in Florida which was the best because of spring training. Definitely miss that!
