As we're approaching October 1st, which many speculate is the big announcement date. Interesting..........

popcorn::

Is it just me, or does the master declaration map include the main (current) tower?!!
Just not the convention center and south wings?

Why are units 2A and 2B "Phase 2" Where's phase 1 (current tower?) :bananna:

Just not the convention center and south wings?

The main tower and conv. ctr. (plus part of the south wing) are included on that map, but I think it's for reference purposes, and isn't part of DVC.;)

And Phase 1? I was wondering that too.

Unit 2A appears to be one 2BR Lockoff and one Dedicated 2BR.

Unit 2B appears to be one 2BR Lockoff.

These are on the first floor according to the drawing notes.

The dark outline on page 28 (Title of the map is Villas ad Disney's Contemporary Resort") includes that main tower and resort areas between the main tower and Bay Lake, and NOT the convention center or south wing

Well, I'd say that just about makes it's official to me. Thanks for the links. Now all they have to do is finally make the announcement...:surfweb: I'm betting they convert the top 2 floors of the Main Tower to DVC, just like they did with AK...popcorn::

Sow are 2a and 2b the sales models, presumably?

Maybe they are. It would certainly be easier (and cheaper) to build the sales models in the curved building than to do it at SSR, where everything is rectangular.

I wonder how (they convert) the main tower was built with modular convrete room "blocks" stacked on top of each other. If they are currently adjoining, they could combine 2 units into a 1BR, or else they do a large amount of very disruptive concrete cutting...

But, aren't there larger suites on the top floors? They never got remodeled with the other rooms... :confused3

Didn't know that. Current large suites would be much easier to convert. And would make sense, I was wondering why Disney allowed all that recent renovation $ to be "sunk" to hide "The villas at Contemporary", but if there are currnet, large suites that were never redone...

Would "top floor" aso mean Concierge?

The top two floors are concierge.

:) to hear this but hope I won't be  when we learn price per point !

Thanks for letting us know TSMIII :thumbsup2
