I agree, at this close to opening sales for BLT it is very unlikely that anything would be changed (all materials have been printed, training programs have been set etc.) the only adjustment they could do now would be to delay the start of sales, but his has not been Disney’s style (never admit you made a mistake).

Just opened my offical BLT email from DVC. It had a very cute youtube commercial with Deevy See. At the very end of the youtube segment the legal fine print stated that minimal buy in for new members was $16,650. That puts it closer to the SSR and AKV price before incentive.

Also, immediately called my Member Guide and he said that they wouldn't be able to give anyone more details until this Sun. He said sales were starting very soon!

Has anyone gotten the actual per point maintenance fee amount from their guide? I'm really curious as to what that will be.

When I click on the point chart on the Member's site, nothing comes up ? The point calculator works, but you have to try and figure out what week days vs weekends cost.
Also...anyone know how many rooms there will be at BLT ? I didn't see mention of this on DVC Member site ?

I called my guide this morning after receiving the email and he just got back in his office from a morning meeting.

Sales don't officially begin until Sunday, but they can fill all the paper work out and have it ready to go for first thing Sunday morning. I have everything done and will receive the paper work to sign and send back in within the next 2 weeks. On Sunday, my cc will be charged for my down payment.

Price is $112 per point before incentives. $5 per point discount with minimum 100 point contract. Not sure how they came up with the $16,650. Could be old legal mumbo jumbo that wasn't changed. Jason Garcia's article in the Orlando Sentinel today says that contracts will begin at $18K, which at $112 per point would be 160 point minimum for new sales.
