Need help planning: May 30 - June 2

Arriving from East Coast on the afternoon of May 30 with with my teenage son. Staying in a deluxe studio. Couple of questions:
1) We booked a transfer from LAX with Karmel but got much cheaper quotes from Golden West and MidiWil. Have people had any recent experience with Golden West and MidiWil?

2) Would like to rope drop DCA on Monday, June 1. What is the better entrance to use? The downtown Disney entrance or the one through Grand Californian? Would like to try to get Radiator Springs.

3) Starting in Disneyland on Sunday, May 31 - use the downtown Disney entrance with the Sorcerer's hat? It is grad night at DCA that evening. When should we hop over to DCA and plan on leaving to avoid crowds? Should we stay for World of Color or wait until Monday night?

If you are staying at DLH, use the entrance in DTD both days. There are two convenient security locations next to the DLH - one is at the Sorcerer's hat, the other is at the end of the Frontier Tower. If you are staying in the Villas, the Frontier Tower entrance might be easier.

For Sunday May 31, I'm a little confused. Are you rope dropping DL, hopping over to DCA, and then back to DL again? If so, you can't hop until 11 am and I would plan on leaving DCA before 6 pm.

I would consider spending your entire first day at DL and rope dropping DCA on your second day. If you want, you can hop over to DL midday on June 1 and then back to DCA in the evening.

You could stay for WOC on Monday night but the lines for attractions are going to become long, and the general vibe within the park is going to change once all of the HS grads enter. I would do PTN, Wondrous Journeys, and Fantasmic or Shadows of Memory, Fire of the Rising Moon & second show of Fantasimc or PTN in Disneyland and WOC on Monday.
