Bounceback Information and FAQ Thread - 25-35% off BOUNCEBACKS ARE BACK for 2025! Updated 1/31/2025

@TammiMcMan - Many in this thread have booked room-only, you can scroll back a few pages, and see the discussion. A few have had to call back because they have been originally booked as a package. I suspect they receive more incentives when they book "packages" since that typically means add-ons such as tickets and dining.

If possible, can someone who is at Disney or arriving soon, please take a picture of the fineprint at the bottom of the offer? I just realized the picture I took, I cannot read this.

Thanks!

We checked out Friday and I just called and booked a BB offer for next August for similar dates to our trip this year.

Found the CM I spoke with to be very knowledgeable and not pushy at all which I was thankful for. He offered tickets and Memory Maker, both of which I said no to and there was zero pressure. Insurance was never mentioned.

I booked a 10 night BB for my family plus 2 additional reservations for my cousin's family who will be there for half of our trip.

Call took about 45 mins and 3 reservations booked for late Aug. Pop, standard rooms.

351 sleeps - let the countdown begin!! :D

I booked a bounceback last week for POR
Feb 26-March 3. Got the full 30% off, so a total of $1619 for 6 nights, standard view 5th sleeper. The cast member did try to book me a "basic package" when I told her I didn't want tickets because we are staying at Poly for 2 nights before (DVC rental) and might start our tickets with that stay. I insisted I wanted room-only and she had to check if it was allowed, and then was able to book it for me.
Also, my first two choices were CBR and All Star Music family suites. The offer wasn't available for the family suites, and for CBR it was only available for 4 of my nights.

Is it possible to get a bounce back offer if your dates don’t coincide with those on the offer?
Sorry, not quite sure what you are asking.

Anyone who stays at a Disney resort now can book a BounceBack offer for a future stay.

The dates on the brochure are the dates that guests staying at a WDW resort now, can book for 2024.

Anyone staying at a Disney-owner resort can book a bounceback offer. The discounted dates for 2024 are in the first post. Any date not included will be bookable at rack rate.

Can you book with Disney and then transfer to Travel Agent? Just wondering because I would like my friend to get the commission - but she’s also on vacation at the same time I can book the bounce back. She did say she had a window she could do it, but I know contacting Disney can take awhile (just from my experience of having her book AP discount rates for me - she needs to call to do it)

Otherwise, I will call just to get pricing/availability for my Dates so I can tell her exactly what to book.

Going Mar 6-14. 4 Adults/1 child. (My Brother, SIL, niece and my mom) …still undecided on shared room at Moderate or 2 rooms at Value Resort. Will be room only as I have an AP. Would consider a shared room at Deluxe if it was a good deal, but trying to keep room cost under $500/night. (And I know it’s prime Spring Break 🤪 .. side effect of a child being included, at least they are letting her miss a couple days of school)

Yes... I think there is a 30(?) day window that you can transfer to your TA friend. At least, I have done that in the past.... My TA has a form I filled out and then she did the rest.

Can I use a bounce back offer for 2 different trips if the dates of my trips are within the dates eligible for the bounce back?

I booked our Bounceback for Wilderness Lodge, Feb 4-8th. They gave us the 35% discount, which is great since WL usually has 10% or 15% discounts.

We wanted to book Gran Destino Tower-club access but it wasn't available.
That's an awesome score! I found WL only available with bounceback for August for fireworks view rooms, which are = $$$$.

We recently booked a bounce back offer. I declined any tickets, dining, etc, but in looking at my reservation I was given a “basic” package and NOT a “room only” reservation, which is what I thought I was booking. Can someone tell me the differences between the basic and room only? Is it too late to call and change since the 7 days are well past?

Basic package requires $200 deposit and 30 days prior to check-in free cancellation rather than first night deposit and 5 days prior to check-in free cancellation.

Call back and insist you want a room only since the terms are better. Bounceback seems to be pushing packages.
