BRV vs CCV?

appreciate this thread! by chance after refreshing for a half hours worth of Olaf's broken head this morning, behold a CCV studio was available for our dates and I swapped out of our home SSR real quick to try something new! so if I'm reading this right, there are no more VWL. They are BRV and CCV and CCV is in the DWL main building? I'm getting confused

It's just the three of us so smallish studio will be fine, it says with shower I assume that means no tub...third week in August maybe we won't be getting much construction noise? We have not been to the WL for years. Last time we were there we met our cousins at the campground and ate at Trails End. 8 years ago I think!

Is CCV a resort I need to make room requests for or just show up and they are all good?

Most of the CCV rooms are good, since you have a walk in shower, you are correct - no tub. And you won't be on the first floor. Almost all the rooms with tubs are on the first floor unless you get a unicorn alternate studio. There are tradeoffs for all the room locations, so depending on what is more important to you, that could determine any request you may make. I don't usually request anything for CCV. There are no real dumpster views, most studios will over look either the BRV pool or the main pool. There are some studios on the upper floors where you may be able to see some of the higher fireworks, but some of those upper floors have enclosed balconies. And they tend to be a little further from the lobby. Check out Touring Plans, they have a great interactive map of each resort that will show you room locations and views. And yes, CCV is in the main building, the wing to the right if facing the lake. The rooms are converted hotel rooms, that's why they are smaller than the BRV studios. No small pull down bed under the TV, and it looks like with the current renovations, the pull out sofas are being replaced by Murphy beds! You will love it!
