We bought BWV last fall, sight unseen. Now, I have a last minute trip, with my dd, coming up in 8 days. Do you all think we might be able to do a tour or whatever without doing the whole sales spiel??? I'ld love to be able to report back to dh that we made a terrific decision (even tho I already know we did!!).

We also bought sight-unseen; we closed about a mouth before our trip to WDW. We scheduled a meeting with our guide, the wonderful Jim McCoy, for one morning during our trip. He sent a DVC Van to pick us up at the Polynesian, met us at the BW DVC offices, showed us all of the models, and sent us on our way with a bag of cotton candy!

I'm not sure what would happen if you showed up and told the folks that you already owned - they'd probably show you around, but I'm not sure.

That should not be a problem. I bought sight unseen from a guide that just works via telephone but when I got there I had one of the reps at the kiosk setup an appointment. When I got there they knew I was a member and after about 5 minutes someone took me on a tour.

No sales spiel no hassle. They even provided the transportation to and from if you want it.

We also bought sight unseen at BWV this past fall. We were in WDW prior to our closing, and decided we would like to see what we had just purchased. We walked into the sales office at BW about 15 minutes before they were going to close (we were down in that area for a dinner PS). We told them we had already purchased, but would like to take a look at the models. They checked our computer system and sure enough we were in there. They then called to have a rep take us around the models. No sales pitch. The rep was very nice and even gave us some goodies to take home!::MickeyMo

I bought first (BCV while it was still under construction) and then went down to WDW and got the tour from my guide (who knew she didn't have to work too hard on the selling part).

I just got back from WDW and we went over to Baordwalk and asked to see the new Saratoga model. They were very gracious and let us see the new rooms, although the gentleman showing us around did apologize toward the end with a "Sorry but I have others waiting." It was very busy and I appreciated them showing us around even though they ALREADY have my money... Don't forget, to DVC, we are all just add-ons waiting to happen!

We also bought sight-unseen, at BVC. It was thrilling to check in there for the first time. Go on over, no one will begrudge you looking around. The model rooms are all in one hallway, and are decorated to look like rooms at the DVC resorts. It's easy to get a feel for the rooms this way.
