BOG lunch FP problems and split reservations

Has anyone had experience with being unable to make a BOGlunch FP for the correct number of people because of a split reservation? i.e. I have a split reservation: four nights in a studio with just my husband and myself then 4 nights in a grand villa with our children and grandchildren. I want to make a FP for lunch on the 2nd day of the 2nd reservation, but the site only sees my husband and myself, not the rest of our group who want to attend also.

If you have had the same type of experience, was anyone able to resolve it ?
It has been suggested that we make the FP for the 2 the site sees , and just show up with the additional 3 guests and a copy of my hotel reservation.

there is an entire thread devoted to BOG FP+ with an FAQ on page 1. If you can't find your answer in the FAQ, post on that thread and some one will help you.

I had the same issue today. We are a party of 5, staying in 2 rooms. So we have 1 room in my name for 2 people, and 1 room in my husband's name for 3 people. I was so excited to see BOG lunch fast passes available then somewhat dismayed to find it woul only allow me to book for a fixed number of people based on reservation #. I ended up quickly booking 2 fast passes, 1 for each room reservation, with over-lapping arrival times thinking I was home free. On second thought, I am now concerned that if expecting a party of 3 and separate party of 2, they might not be so quick to seat one party of 5 together. I'll scour the rest of the BOG faqs and info in the link above later this evening. Good luck getting what you want/need!

I think I have solved my problem. I set up a new disney account for my son who is only on the 2nd reservation. When I did this , everyone showed up. Now we are just waiting until 27 days out to try for it !

Hello Princess Jasmine from Poughkeepsie!! I'm right next door in WF Just an FYI, since lunch is a QS you actually seat yourselves after you've ordered your food. So, even though your whole party is actually broken into 2 parties for FP purposes, you guys can sit yourselves together no problem. They bring your food to you and it won't matter where you're sitting or whom you're sitting with.
I take it this will be your first visit to BOG? Enjoy! We've been there once for lunch and 4x for dinner and love it. Have a great trip!
