Blackhawks Parade

Wrong. Although I've only held season tickets for 7 years, I went to plenty of single games during the seasons before that. Heck I even went to a Stanley Cup game all the way back in 1992. Based on your posts, I'm guessing you weren't even around back then.

As I said, I'm calling you on this one. If you've really had season tickets for the last 7 years, why did you start a thread mid-May saying that you were "contemplate the pros/cons of getting season tickets" ?

:rotfl:

Was thinking about getting Bulls tickets but money would have been tight for that.

:rotfl:

But fair to say that we've clear established you're not a real fan.

Yeah RIGHT!:lmao:

If that's the case you would have already know the answer to your questions...

Does anyone have season tickets for their favorite sports teams? Do any of you actually go to EVERY SINGLE game or do you try to sell a lot of the games away and just go to a few games. Trying to contemplate the pros/cons of getting season tickets.

Who is the "we" that you're referring to?

What were you contemplating? As a season ticket holder for the last 7 years, you should have known the pros/cons of being a season ticket holder!

Rocky Wirtz and I.

Contemplating lots of things, whether to seek out partners for the Bulls so I didn't have to burden the whole cost, how easy it is to sell NBA tickets. Honestly these are things that only real fans would know about. Not someone who gets tickets from a lawyer and doesn't even buy food. :rotfl2:

Rocky Wirtz and I.

Are you sure that you mean Rocky, the guy that wanted to put the games on TV so that the FANS could watch? :lmao:

I think that maybe you've got him confused with his dad

Wouldn't you already know what it's like after being a season ticket holder for 7 years?

You've got me confused with someone else. I didn't get the tickets from a lawyer.

I go to all the Hawks games. I wouldn't go to all the Bulls game. Big difference. Wanted a few different perspectives. Not sure why you care so much.

No, that would be who got them from the lawyer I work with (and I get a condo in Marco Island for a week every year from another lawyer I work with). :)

Personally, I think we should all stop responding to the OP because he/she has no idea what they are talking about.

It's hard trying to convince bandwagon fans who think they're real fans, that they are in fact bandwagon fans. Very difficult.

If you say so!:lmao:

"Do any of you actually go to EVERY SINGLE game ..."

Why do you care so much about the people that showed up for the parade?

Nuttylawprofessor's real fan quiz:

15351_feature.jpg

Is this player's name pronounced:

(a) Buff-lin
(b) By-foo-glee-in
(c) **** Pronger!
(d) other

If you did not answer (b), you are a fan and encouraged to come downtown to celebrate.

If you want it like it was back in the 80's, that would have made for a very sparse parade rally today!!!

I'm a fan from way back when too (got to go to the games in the old stadium), so welcome to all the new fans! ;)

And if you watched the coverage today, tons of kids. Tons. That's great, new fans!

And woo-hoo!!! Almost 2 million today!! It beat the White-Sox rally.:thumbsup2

If the Cubs ever win....the city will really be shut down.:lmao:

Did you go? I bet it was great. I'm still sorry I didn't go when the Giants won the Super Bowl--NYC knows how to do a parade!

I already answered that question earlier. I don't like bandwagon fans who act like they were a part of the team's success.

They sure do. I was still in HS when the Rangers won the Stanley Cup and it was the coolest thing to take the train into the city, stand in the Canyon of Heroes and watch the confetti fall as the team went by. I am a HOCKEY FAN and I was there because I wanted to be a part of that celebration. I never claimed to be a Ranger fan, never hopped on board as they approached the last series. Just wanted to see a bit of history being made.

With this logic, a person should not be considered a fan of musicians that they haven't seen live in concert.

Unless you were on the ice with them, you weren't part of their success either.
