1. Huge bandwagon fan hater because of where I live. Diehard Hawks fan all my life, used to go to games all the time when I was little (I'm 18) when they sucked and sit in a box or 5 rows from the glass, and suddenly they are amazing. I'd die to go to a game now, even in the 300 level, but my family can't afford it. I've been to three games since in the last three years. But my friend, who doesn't even know the rules of hockey, hardly pays attention to the game, and couldn't tell you who Tony Espisto and Bobby Hull are suddenly is a Hawks fan and went to almost every home playoff game. Her daddy can buy her tickets, even the $500/ticket for the 300 level. Can you say bandwagon? The area around me is very very very affluent, so this is the case for so many. I hate bandwagon fans who know nothing about the sport, have invested no long term time and heart commitment to the team, and haven't been there through it all, the ups and the downs. Sorry rant over...
2. I was at the parade and rally today! So amazing. I don't even think words can describe what an amazing time I had with my younger brother and 2million other people. It was just crazy awesome insane and all of the above. Totally worth waking up at 6, standing on a street for 4 hours, nearly dying in the mob after the parade, getting stuck in Union Station, and almost missing my shift at work. I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat!
3. The train...let's just say, Thank God Chicago didn't get the Olympics. Ughhh...
