Black Friday Buddies 2009 Unite! SCORE REPORTS, WAIT STORIES, HAULS FOR DAY!!

Need Advice Please!! I am 14 weeks preggers and MUST get some maternity clothes in the next week or so. I am going to buy most of them from Old Navy online. Is there any reason I should wait till BF to shop online? Will there be better deals then? I don't mind waiting till Friday if I need to and would be so mad if I made 150.00 worth of purchases only to find them cheaper a few days later! I don't have any of my usual ON discount codes this time around...go figure! What would you guys do?? HELP!
What is ONs return policy? If you buy now can you get a refund if the item(s) are lower on BF? :confused3 Good Luck, and Congrats! :goodvibes

I have a question about Toys R Us....the item I am looking for will be a doorbuster from 12 midnight on Thursday until 1:00 on Friday. Will they just be open all night on Thursday? Or will they close then re-open at midnight? What time should I get there? I've only done Wal Mart which is open 24 hours where we live so Toys R Us will be a new BF adventure for me...any advice???

Tenia, I did some research a few days ago on the kmart net book, ugh, got horrible reviews:
"It will not run standard Windows programs. In fact, it will not run any version of Windows except CE. You cannot upgrade it to Windows XP, or VIsta, or Windows7. 128MB of RAM was standard for laptops 10 years ago. A 7-inch screen may give you 854x480 pixels; then again, maybe only 800x480. A standard netbook screen (8.9-10.1 inch) will give you 1024x600 pixels; the latest netbooks will even give you 1366x768 (720p). Standard netbooks come with anywhere from 512MB to 2GB of RAM; 128MB isn't very much these days. A standard netbook will come with an 8GB SSD (or a much larger hard drive); 2GB of storage is pretty paltry. On the plus side, battery life will likely be much better than on a standard netbook. If you want a large PDA, this might be the ticket; otherwise, give it a pass. "
However, Target has an ad for the ACER netbook for $199 and comes with a sleeve...not sure if its any better, gonna look into it this afternoon :thumbsup2

Now that you've seen the ads, what are you thinking?

I like the portable digital tv at target 79.00

If you can wait until Friday, I think I would. In store they are have major sales like 50% off so I would think they'd have something online as well.

Sears:
I walked into my local sear satellite store with my BF ad and credit card in hand. The guy was amazed that I had Sear BF ad and asked where I got it. "it isn't released yet". I explained that everyone has every BF ad just by google black friday.net.

He was still surprised. I just asked nicely if he wanted the commission on the sale for the HE wash machine and dryer or not. He took my information and will ringing up my new wash machine and dryer when he comes to work on BF/:woohoo::woohoo:

The items I am ordering are online only (short and plus size stuff) and so the return policy reeks...I have to pay 6.00 to return it and it has to be returned by UPS...so buying now and returning if I find it cheaper won't work unfortunately.

I won't be able to shop "in the store" on Friday b/c we will be on our way to the Alabama/Auburn game. I did get a 25% code from a friend so I may just order today.

I was soooooooooooooo not happy with them for moving our ball game to Friday . I will be up all night shopping then trying to catch a nap before the game. I am jealous that you are going though :lovestruc.

I apologize if this has already been asked, but has anyone seen a deal on the Lightning McQueen TV and DVD player? DS and his girlfriend were wanting to purchase this for her son, but it is really expensive. I told them I would see what I could find and you guys are always my source!

FWIW, I have an Acer Aspire Notebook and love it. I know the netbooks are not the same as the notebooks but I haven't had any trouble with my Acer brand.

Anyone know anything about the HP and eMachine laptops at Walmart? Thinking about those for the kids.

Help!

I can't seem to get to the KMART and Target ads. I've been able to get to the Wal Mart ad. I'm eyeing the 20" bike and the 26" inch bike for $29 and $49 respectively but I wanted to see if KMart or Target had bikes.

Thanks

-A

Bah... I was a couple blocks away from the ON store and totally forgot to check to see if they're open on Thanksgiving. I know the store by the mall is open at noon... I'll drop kari off at work early, pick up my survival bag and head to ON by 9am. I hope 3hrs is early enough to get a copy for the Wii.

What time should I get in line for Friday morning?? There's a Best Buy, Kohl's, Penny's, Lowe's all nearby.... But it's not in a mall or anything that's doing a midnight opening thing.

check gobblepalooza.com. you can put in your zip code and it will show of your store is open or not.

I got the Target and Kmart ads in my Sunday paper but no Wal-Mart ads.

Not the black friday ad right? I hope not! I didnt buy a paper. Im getting them Wensay and Thursday (from the newpaper office, gatta love my ma, she used to work there).

i didn't get a wal-mart or k-mart (don't have a target within 75 miles) ad in my sunday paper, so i can only assume they're holding out for thursday?
