FYI about Acer - we bought a bunch of their monitors about 2 years ago here at work. One by one, they just stopped working. I think there are only 1 or 2 still operating. I know I'm steering clear of them because if the screen on a laptop or netbook goes, it can't be switched out the way a desktop can...

are there any deals on the DSi alone? I wanted to upgrade both kids to the DSi but don't want the bundles.

The best deal you can get with just the system is too trade it in at Gamestop or Gamecrazy. The downside of that is the kids will be going crazy looking for their ds.(ok making them crazy might not be a downside )

I know that a lot of people here are interested in the Lego Rock Band deal at Old Navy. I haven't been following it since I'm not interested in getting it but I found this information on their site (while looking for some other things).

I can't copy/paste it but if you click on "Friday Deals " box towards the bottom of the page. Then click on the " see rules for details " section on the Rock Band section (in the center). The rules talk about wrist bands being passed out and that you have to choose which system. It doesn't say anything about it being a demo. It also says that they are extremely limited but doesn't say that some stores will not get any.

Anyway, I just wanted to pass this link along for those that are interested.

Can some one tell me if the stores that are open on thursday will be doing the free guitar with rock band 2?? I know 1 store that will be open 12-7 on Thanksgiving, and since kari has to be at work by 9 that gives me 3 hrs to wait for opening. I'm not having much luck with figuring all this out. I don't think the rockband 2 will be quite the big of deal as lego rockband, but I want to get both and need a strategy.

Whether it's the demo or real game... that's what she's getting. And I'll be staying awake all night for... I'm also trying to con a friend into waiting in line with me so I can get 2 copies, one for kari and one for our friend (that got her started on this whole rockband thing).

I know Meijer is one, however, that's not going to help you. I bought mine through Dell with their $20 off so I'm not in the market any more.
