Love the kids Toy Story outfits and your review of Sci Fi. Maybe a dining change for our next trip? :)[/QUOTE]

I know, I did feel bad for him! He was so sure that he could ride it since he had in the past. Not sure what did him in... if it was the full stomach or just being 15+ years older :confused3

Subbing. Love your TR so far.

Yay, thank you!! :welcome:

I'm glad you guys made it on TSM twice! That is definitely my favorite ride!

Those outfits are all so cute! How fun for your HS day!

I haven't been to sci fi since I was a kid, I might have to put it on my list just for fun! The milk shakes sounds delicious!

I'm sorry you didn't end up getting to ride TOT or RNRC : (

My last trip I definitely had a lot more fun at DHS than I have in the past, I'm going to plan some more time there too on my next trip!

TSM was such a fun ride and getting to ride it twice in a row was awesome!!

I kept thinking that there wasn't much to do in HS, so I didn't plan a whole lot of time there, but we really enjoyed everything that we did there! I think maybe we'll plan on two days next trip so we can do everything again, plus all of the other stuff that we missed!

Oh no! Poor Joe. I hope it passed quickly. I would be so bummed out if I missed ToT or RnRC. Our last trip RnRC was closed so it's a must next time.

Great updates! And thanks for the answer about Fantasmic!

ToT & RnRC are a MUST for me next trip! I'm hoping that I can get Donovan to ride them with me :scared1:

Great update! :)

Thanks for reading! :surfweb:

I LOVE Bronwyn's Buzz dress!! So adorable! The meet & greet with Buzz & Woody looks like so much fun. They must have gotten a real kick out of all the kids' cute Toy Story outfits!

We are big fans of Sci-Fi for some reason. I think the atmosphere more than the food. But YES, it can be so difficult with a little one! I remember taking DS for the first time when he was a year old, and that was a brutal experience. Somehow we still wound up going back last year, and he was a lot better at 2 years old, and again this year at 3 than he was on that first visit. :rotfl:

Well, I'm glad Jorie was brave enough to try ToT, but poor Joe!! I have been affected by motion sickness in the past and it is seriously no fun. Thankfully now the less-drowsy Dramamine works well for me, or I don't know that I could enjoy my favorite attractions as much.

I LOVED that Buzz dress so much that I bought a similar one in a bigger size for Bronwyn for our next trip. I know that if I saw someone dressed in the same outfit as me, I'd be annoyed... but the characters do always seem to get a kick out of it! :rotfl:

Thankfully after some Zofran and a nap... Joe was good to go. But we'll definitely be bringing some Dramamine along next time!

What a great update, loved the outfits!!
How does the rider swap work with FP+? WE have used rider swap in the past but this is all new to me with FP+ and scheduling.

It basically works the same way as the regular rider swap. You have to go up to the regular ride entrance to show them that you have a little one who is too small to ride and pick up your rider swap pass . Then you have to make sure that the first set of riders are within their FP+ timeframe and then they can enter through the FastPass entrance.. After the first person/group rides, then the second set of riders can use the Rider Swap pass anytime that same day using the FP ride entrance. So actually, whomever is going to ride the ride the second time.... you don't even really need to book a FP+ for them. Hope that makes sense! :thumbsup2

Goodness so many updates (not that I'm complaining). But I'm finally all caught up now. :)

So glad you loved Fantasmic. It is well worth waiting for in my opinion. And at least you get to sit while you wait.

My God your kids outfits are just the cutest.

Wow, that ToT ride was almost empty.

I had said the same thing to Joe about their empty ToT ride. He said that there was an issue with a large group behind them. They must of had a child that was too small to ride but they didn't seem to understand English. The CMs were trying to locate another CM to aid in the communication. So I guess instead of holding everyone else up, they just said to send through Joe's group. Lucky them, right?!

So while Joe and Bronwyn slept in the hotel room, I decided to take Isla and Jorie out to check out the pool. We headed past the quiet pool to the Nanea Volcano pool (I didn't take my camera along, so no pics)

The girls were SO excited! Well as we walked along the walkway next to the pool, I noticed that no one was in the pool. Uh oh, that's never a good sign! The pool was temporarily closed and the lifeguards were busy checking the chlorine levels, so it was definitely as I had suspected. Yuck! But the CMs were keeping all of the kids busy with some hula dancing lessons by the side of the pool. Jorie and Isla joined them... so I decided to head over to the Barefoot Bar to see what kind of fruity tropical cocktail I could find for myself.

I ordered a Citrus Blast ~ Finlandia Tangerine Vodka and Amaretto blended with Orange Purée and Nonfat Yogurt topped with Blue Curaçao Foam. I used my Magic Band to pay for it which was pretty cool.... and a bit too easy, hehe. With the tip that I added in, wow that was one expensive drink! Oh it was good though!

Then I relaxed for a bit in a lounge chair and just took in the beautiful scenery around me. Ahhh paradise!! :beach: For a few seconds, I imagined that I was on some tropical island.... until I heard my girls calling me. "Mooooooom!" and there went that dream... The CMs had switched over to a trivia game which didn't seem to be keeping their attention. So we decided to head over to the quiet pool. I sat on the edge with my feet in the pool and finished my drink while the girls took a quick dip. Then we headed back to our room.

As we were walking down the hallway, I could see a cart down the hall, near our room. As we got closer, I could see that it was right outside of our room. Right as we got to our door, there was a CM coming out of our room. She looked pretty shocked that we were standing there. She said that she was just dropping off a package and she hurried away. I wondered if Joe and Bronwyn had woken up and gone for a walk or something. But no, when we went inside, they were both still sleeping. And Joe was practically naked in the bed!!! Bwahahaha! That poor girl, that's why she looked so surprised! And there was the package sitting on the bottom of the bed. At first I wasn't sure what it could be, but then I realized... Oh of course.... It's my Serendipi D~ bag!! Yay! I had seen a pic of it before she, D~ (DMGeurts) had shipped it, but it was even better in person! Whoo hoo!

So I woke up Joe and asked him if he had heard the girl knock on the door.. "huh, what girl?" lol Guess not! He was pretty embarrassed when I told him what had happened.

Joe was feeling much better after his nap, so we all got changed and headed to the TTC. We hopped on the EPCOT monorail and arrived in the park at 5:25. I texted my mom to find out where her and Donovan were and to set up a meeting spot. They had gotten to the park an hour earlier and rode Journey into Imagination with Figment.

On our way into Future World we spotted a STARBUCKS sign. Yes, please! A caffeine pick-me-up was just what we needed... so we stopped in. We asked what size drink we would be able to get using a snack credit and the CM behind the counter said "any drink, any size." Wait WHAT!?! ANY drink, ANY size for 1 snack credit!!! How awesome is that!? A venti iced Caramel Macchiato was/is my drink of choice.

On our way out of the Fountain View we ran into Joe's parents. What are the chances of that? So we all headed over to The Seas to meet my mom and Donovan. On our walk over, Joe's mom told me about the trouble they had at check-in. It seems that when I connected all of our reservations (mine, my moms, and theirs) on my MDE site before our trip that it may have messed things up -since both AOA and the Poly were participating in the Magic Band testing but Wilderness Lodge was not. Whoops!! But they got everything straightened out and they were very happy with their room. They said that their resort was beautiful! Here are a few pics that they took:

View from their room (I think)
I wish that we would have made it over there to check it out!

We found Donovan and my mom right by Nemo & Dory.

The kids, ...and my Father-in-law, LOVED those "Mine, mine, mine" seagulls.

We got in line for The Seas with Nemo & Friends. After walking what felt like miles to get to the front , there was NO ONE in line... we walked right on. We all hopped into our clamshells and took off under the sea.

Such a cute ride. I loved how they combined real aquarium fish with the Nemo characters. :fish:

I thought that the tank at the end of the ride was empty until we saw... this guy!

Next stop was Turtle Talk with Crush. We waited a few minutes for the show before us to empty out. The kids all headed up to the front and us grown-ups took a seat. Whoever does the voice for Crush is one of the funniest guys I have ever heard! The whole place was cracking up with his answers to all of the kids questions. "Are you a turtle?" "........let me think........ah yeah."

Jorie had her hand up the whole time but didn't get picked. I can just imagine what she would have asked him.

Then we checked out the aquariums and of course... Bruce!!!

For the record, I don't let my kids climb on the exhibits.... that was all my Mom. Ya know the whole, grandparents never say no thing... drives me crazy. (all of the pics with the date stamp on them are hers)

What a cute area and it was EMPTY! I guess the mobs of people were all in World Showcase for the first day of the Food & Wine Festival. I knew that we should stay far away from there! Sorry STARSHIP, I would have loved to have seen your Eat to the Beat concert... but I wasn't up for dealing with huge crowds of people.

It was time for our 6:55 ADR at Coral Reef. Another reservation that I was really looking forward to. We checked in and were led right in to our table. We had two connecting booths along the back wall. I was a little bummed that we weren't closer to the fish, but actually we could still see everything just fine and we had a nice view of the whole tank. The 3 older kids wanted to sit with Joe's parents, so they took one booth and Joe, Bronwyn, my mom & I sat at the other booth. We were given the drink menu. My mom ordered a Magical Star cocktail and I ordered a Blue Glo-tini. The waitress asked me for my ID... which I did not have with me! I hadn't gotten carded in years! My mom started cracking up, she pointed to all of my kids and said that she was pretty sure that I was over 21. The waitress seemed pretty surprised that the kids were mine, lol. Thank you to that waitress for making me feel young that night, you were my new favorite person.

The light up ice cubes made them even more awesome!

Joe and I shared the Appetizer for 2: Crab Cakes with tropical fruit salsa, tequila aioli; Crispy-fried shrimp with Coral Reef Slaw and spiced remoulade; and a taste of our Creamy Lobster Soup
I hate when there are bell peppers in crab cakes. Our waitress assured me that there was hardly any fillers in them and boy was she right. They were practically ALL crab and one of the best crab cakes that I've ever had. The lobster soup was good too. The shrimp were just okay.

For Entrees we ordered:
Coral Reef Lobster Orecchiette Pasta - with White Cheddar Cheese and Basil Oil

AMAAAAAZING!!

Grilled Mahi Mahi - with Laughing Bird Shrimp, Hearts of Palm, Jasmine Rice, Cilantro, and a Coconut-Lime Sauce

And for dessert:
The Chocolate Wave - served with Raspberry Gelato
Classic Vanilla Caramel Flan

Absolutely no complaints here! YUM-O! I had heard people complain of the small portion sizes, long waits, poor service, etc... but I think we left with everyone having had plenty to eat, the food was great, we didn't have to wait at all for our ADR, and our waitress was #1 in my book!

And what a cool experience to be able to watch all of the sea creatures... and even a few snorkelers, swim around while we ate!

Continued in next post...

While getting our stroller, we ran into another family with an "Isla" which was pretty neat because it's not a name that you hear too often.

It was slightly raining but nothing too hard. I checked the MDE app to see the Epcot wait times. There were a bunch of rides that were already closed, and then of course the popular ones still had very long waits. So we decided to head out of the park since we had another early morning the next day.

On our way out, we passed by the Epcot Character Spot. I hadn't thought of doing a meet & greet, so I suggested that we stop in. And there was only one family in line in front of us.... score!

Who was around the corner?

MICKEY!

The kids loved touching Pluto's whiskers.

I'm was so happy that we decided to stop in. We all had a fun time!

Then the kids found…

They couldn't get over how the sidewalk was glowing.

Then Donovan pointed to Spaceship Earth and asked what was in there? I asked him if we should check it out. So one more ride before we would head out for the night…

Joe and I rode together but the camera picked Bronwyn’s face instead of Joe’s. (with her tongue out too! )

The kids all LOVED it!! And kept asking to go back into the "Golf Ball" or the "ride that went backwards" for the rest of the trip!

Epcot is just so beautiful at night.

We caught a PP photographer who was just setting up his tripod and asked him if he could take our photo.

What a wonderful evening!

Isla was going back to AOA with my mom for the night. So she, my mom and my in-laws headed to the bus stop. We headed to the monorail and rode it back to the TTC.

We took a nice quiet walk back to the Poly, since the 3 kids were fast asleep in the strollers. So we decided to by-pass our room and take a stroll around the resort. Wow, it was so pretty at night with all of the torches lit.

We could see the castle all lit up and the start of Hallowishes across the lagoon in MK. Then it was back to our room and in bed for everyone. Another FANTASTIC day it had been!

Jorie definitely had the whole princess pose down! She looks so cute in the Character Spot pics!

Fantastic pics from the character spot! Your kids are gorgeous.

We have cancelled our Coral Reef reservation on the last 3 trips. I'm determined to keep it this time! :rotfl: I was really glad to hear a positive review.

Sounds like a really, really nice evening. Those unexpectedly fun times are what I love most about WDW :goodvibes

Great updates!
Now you have me wondering if I should switch our FP+ reservations and take off our 3 DS? I thought I would need to have a FP+ reservation for him for Soarin/Test Track in order to do the rider swap with my DD.

Nope they never once checked if we had a FP+ for Bronwyn. (Although she was under 2 so I wouldn't have been able to make one for her anyway) We just wheeled her up to the entrance in the stroller and asked for a Rider Switch pass :goodvibes

INTERESTING!!
Thanks for the insider scoop on rider swap. But I would still need at FP+ to do the rider swap for either me or my DH?

You can always get a rider switch pass and the first riders could use the standby line but having the FP+ will usually save you time.

If you had it all planned out and knew who was going to ride first, then you could plan a FP+ for just them (either you or your DH.. and your DD) and the other would still be able to ride later with your DD using the rider switch pass and not need a FP+.

That's one of the (only) perks of having a small one who can't ride the bigger rides. :thumbsup2

Great updates!

OMG that is too funny about the poor delivery lady!! Joe and Bronwyn must have been completely passed out!

Adorable Nemo dresses. Man, you are really making me want my future second child to be a girl right about now!! :lmao:

Dinner at Coral Reef looks delicious. That pasta looks like something I would definitely enjoy! SO funny about being carded, too! Thank goodness they gave you the drink anyway!

The pics at the Character Spot came out great! What a nice surprise to head in there and find no one in line. :thumbsup2 I am just really bummed that they downsized it to only 3 of the Fab 5 greeting there. It was so nice when you could meet all 5 at once!

Goodness, even though I'm sure it happens from time to time, it still must be shocking for a CM to walk into a room and find people there. I guess there's always the assumption that everyone is gone to the parks. I think I would be pretty shaken if a stranger walked in on me sleeping. Clearly hubby was not fazed, lol.

Ahh, the kids outfits were PERFECT for Nemo. And YES, isn't that queue line ridiculously long???

That's some great character photos. I love being able to get multiple characters at once like that.

Subbing! Loving all the photos, and those dresses are all INCREDIBLE!! I loved the Hoop De Doo skirts, and then the Epcot princesses were just gorgeous. Too cute! :goodvibes Can't wait for more!

Great update! The kids outfits were once again awesome. I still need to find something Nemo for Avery especially since we are thinking of adding a cruise onto our next trip. I loved your necklace too! So cute!

Hoping you post a pic of your new Serendipi~D Bag!!! I am forever drooling over everyone's bags when they post photos. LOL One of these days I will finally get lucky and nab one. It's funny, I have seen the DMGeurts name all over the DisBoards on different threads and never realized who it was.

SO MUCH TO CATCH UP ON!
I will attempt while I wait for everyone else to finish work lol! Can’t remember where I left off so Imma start with Akershus! The outfits are PERFECT and so cute! Oh my gosh just noticed the shoes!! Those are too cute! Also that Ariel bag!

Okay…Belle seriously looks like Belle off Once Upon A Time, that is too weird! Glad you guys enjoyed breakfast! We loved the dinner we did there in Feb! I was just going to say “two ts that close together?” but then you said it! Lol. VN is so delicious, so I can imagine why you wouldn’t turn down the chance to eat there! My favorite was the margherita pizza and the pistachio gelato! SO GOOD!

Oh my gosh there’s so much Duffy in those photos! SO CUTE, I absolutely adore Duffy, he’s so cute! I love that your DD is holding out her skirt all princess posed in the pp pictures! Perfect! Kouzzina has always interested me, I’ll definitely have to check it out one time! SO MUCH FOOD, and it all sounds so good, I’m FOR SURE going there, and oh boy cupcakes and goodies galore!

THAT URSULA DRESS! ITS SO CUTE AND AMAZING. I’m seriously LOVING all these clothes, they’re such a nice nod to the characters and their costumes without actually being in costume! Did you make them? Or order them!??! But really, all the villains inspired looks are a great idea! So cool! Glad you guys enjoyed Fantasmic!

Awwe, too bad you woke up feeling gross!! That happens to me a lot in Disney, too much food I’m not used to lol! Oh my GOSH little Jorie certainly is a model in training! I really Love TSMM, I wish there was an easier way to ride it multiple times! Like….I want that Buzz dress…I’m pretty sure I’d wear it! Lol.

SO GLAD that the meet and greet with the Toys was so great!! They must love outfits like that! That smoked turkey sandwich looks GREAT! I don’t know why I wouldn’t have ordered that last time! Lol. That TOT elevator is so empty!! Oh no!! Too bad Joe got so sick after TOT, but good on ya for having that bag! A friend of mine nearly threw up off of Everest before we even made it back to the station, but that MAY have been the amount of rye he had drank the night before… :eyeroll:

I TOTALLY FORGOT about the sbucks drinks being a snack credit, like, that makes me SO FREKAING HAPPY

Okay, but really, Jorie is legit a Disney princess in training, it’s adorable, she’ll make a perfect one one of these days!

Ahahaha, so great and hilarious that you got ID’d haha! I’ve definitely ID’d someone before and then their kid who’s my age walks up, and like…awkward lol! Looks like a great meal, it’s yet ANOTHER place I do want to check out, I seriously just need to eat at every Disney restaurant!

Looks like a great time at the character spot too! And a great ending to an awesome day! You guys sure accomplished a lot!

Just found your trip report. I'm loving it. The outfits are definitely cute. I can't wait to read more.

Another great set of updates! I hope you'll share pictures of your Serendipi~D bag! :)

Thank you! And yes definitely! You'll get to see a pic of my Serendipi~D bag in use very soon! :flower3:

Jorie definitely had the whole princess pose down! She looks so cute in the Character Spot pics!

She sure does! I can remember a time not too long ago when she hated being in front of the camera. Boy, that sure has changed!! lol

I had read lots of mixed reviews about Coral Reef, so I was a little nervous about it. But I knew that even if we didn't have great food/service, at least the kids would love the aquarium. Luckily, the whole experience was great! Hope it is for you guys as well!

Great updates!

OMG that is too funny about the poor delivery lady!! Joe and Bronwyn must have been completely passed out!

Adorable Nemo dresses. Man, you are really making me want my future second child to be a girl right about now!! :lmao:

I'm surprised that Bronwyn slept through the delivery lady knocking on the door because she is usually a pretty light sleeper. She must have been exhausted! But it does not surprise me about Joe, he could sleep through anything!

Oooh yes, girls are fun to dress!! But, as I'm starting to now learn with Jorie, they are not so fun when they start getting an opinion about what they are wearing. :sad2:

That lobster pasta was sooo yummy! And I know, I didn't even think about needing to bring my ID along! Luckily she still gave me the drink!

Oh wow, I didn't realize that they used to have all fab 5 at that character spot! That really stinks that they got rid of two!! :confused3

That's some great character photos. I love being able to get multiple characters at once like that.

lol, I guess when most people sleep half naked in their hotel room, they usually lock the deadbolt so no one walks in by mistake. :rotfl2: I didn't even think to have Joe lock the door behind me when we left, whoops! Although if he did, he probably wouldn't have heard ME knocking when we got back and who knows how long we would be locked outside our room, haha.:rotfl:

I know, 3 characters at once and with practically no wait was awesome!!

Subbing! Loving all the photos, and those dresses are all INCREDIBLE!! I loved the Hoop De Doo skirts, and then the Epcot princesses were just gorgeous. Too cute! :goodvibes Can't wait for more!

:welcome: I feel so honored to have you here... I just LOVE your TRs!

Thank you, thank you! I had such a fun time planning all of the outfits for the trip.

Great update! The kids outfits were once again awesome. I still need to find something Nemo for Avery especially since we are thinking of adding a cruise onto our next trip. I loved your necklace too! So cute!

I had other Nemo sets planned for that night and then pretty last minute, I completely changed my mind and I had those dresses made.... and I'm so glad that I did. I really love how they turned out. They are so simple but they were perfect. What size does Avery wear? -I have bunch of stuff but I'm thinking that she's older than my girls, right?

Thank you. I had that Squirt clay made for one of the girls but when it arrived it was HUGE!! So then I just decided to make it into a necklace for myself.

I will definitely post a pic of my Serendipi~D bag. I use it the next night, so you'll get to see it in the next update or two. I got lucky one day ...I was on Facebook and saw that she was opening up her customs list and just happened to get a spot... I couldn't believe it. Only thing was, it was for delivery in September so I wasn't sure if I would get it before our trip. Luckily she was able to finish it and ship to the resort just in time. :thumbsup2

Yes, you'll definitely have to try Kouzinna and Coral Reef! We really enjoyed both!

No, I didn't make their outfits. I wish! Sewing is a talent that I do not have!:sad2:

Yes, I'm pretty convinced that Jorie THINKS she IS a Disney Princess, hahaha. princess: Maybe someday... how cool would that be?!

Just found your trip report. I'm loving it. The outfits are definitely cute. I can't wait to read more.

Yay, glad you're here! Thanks for joining in! popcorn::
