Best way to get to...

I'll be staying at the Swan and want to go to the Grosvenor Resort for the MurderWatch Mystery Dinner Theater. I'm thinking a cab will be the easiest way? I'd like to stop by DD Marketplace for some shopping afterward. Is the Marketplace within easy walking distance from the Grosvenor or do I need another cab? I'm pretty sure I could take a bus back to the Swan from there, right? Thanks!

Hi! The Grosvenor Resort should only be a 10-15 minute walk from DTD. I don't know if you have small children with you, or any other situation that would keep you from walking, but if you can get a bus from the Swan to DTD, you could walk both ways if you didn't want the expense of a taxi. The only thing to keep in mind is time. You will need to allow for extra time for the buses. The last time I was on a resort bus, it made several stops at DTD. Just ask the bus driver to let you know which stop is closest to Hotel Plaza Blvd. Have a wonderful time!

The DD bus has three stops, the Marketplace, Pleasure Isalnd, and Westside. Get off at the first stop (Marketplace) and Hotel Plaza Boulevard will be right across the street from where the bus stop is. It is a very short walk to the Grosvenor, as it is one of the first hotels on Hotel Plaza Blvd. It is on the left hand side of the Blvd. Go to dinner, then just walk back over to DD and browse through the shops, then take a bus back to your resort when you're done.
