Best quick / counter service restaurants?

Hi all,

I haven’t been to WDW since 2013 but will be visiting later this summer. We are planning on having at least one table service meal per day, but was wondering which quick service restaurants are worth visiting, and particularly, which are most “table service” like (i.e. proper plates, bringing food to the table, or just a really nice atmosphere). It seems like Disney Springs in particular has a lot of new restaurants (as the last time we went, it was still under construction) and I really don’t know where to start looking! We are staying in the Boardwalk area if there are any nice places near there too.

I have to say I really don't know much QS around the BW - other than walking to the countries and getting quick serve which we do often as we have stayed at the BWI often. We do love the ice cream from Ample Hill on the BW.

In terms of park QS - we really like
MK: Columbia House - indoors
AK: Satuli Canteen - indoors, air conditioned and the food is so good.
HS: We don't like any of the QS in HS but we are going to try the lounge of the Brown Derby this summer.
Epcot: The QS in Mexico is good but outdoors. Our kids love the QS in Japan.

The only QS that brings your food to you is BOG, so you may want to consider that in MK. Make sure to make an ADR. Though it's QS at breakfast and lunch, you still need a reservation.


In EP, we like Les Halles Des France which is a quick walk from BWI. We also like Tangierine Cafe in Morocco which isn't too far from BWI either.

In MK, we like BOG and Columbia Harbour House

In AK, we like Satul'i

We aren't fans of the QS in DHS.

Other good QS in the EP resort area are Boardwalk Bakery (which offers outdoor seating) and Marketplace at Ale & Compass at YC, which has indoor seating. Neither resemble TS, however.

HS: Backlot Express
MK: BOG or Pecos Bill
AK: We haven't tried it yet, but are really looking forward to Satuli

Columbia House in MK, Sunshine Seasons in Epcot, Flametree BBQ in Aninmal, and we've eaten at ABC Commisary(ok-but prefer TS at Brown Derby).

At Disney Springs, Wolfgang Puck Express brings your food to you on real plates and uses real silverware.

Satu’li Canteen.

Food is wonderful. You can refill your drinks. You can mobile order. Lovely atmosphere.

I like this place more than many table service restaurants.

Satu'li is good, and they do use "real" plates, but they do not bring the food to your table.

I like Sunshine Seasons in Epcot

Satu'li Canteen in AK uses real dishes and silverware. They have free refills (rare), and the food is incredible. We got back a few days ago and I'm still craving one of their grilled chicken bowls!

BOG in MK (it's counter service for lunch) also uses real dishes and silverware. The braised pork is out of this world and rivals many table service restaurants.

We usually choose Sunshine Seasons in Epcot for the variety, and have yet to really hit on a great CS place in HS.

Flame Tree at AK is good, but it's outdoor seating. Not fun to be choking back ribs in the heat.

Another vote for Satuli Canteen.

My second-favorite is Contempo Cafe.

The nice thing about staying at the BW is you are quick walk to Epcot. If you have park hoppers then you can just swing over to Epcot and get anything really. The quick service at France is really good and the closest. Mexico is pretty good. Japan is good as well. Plenty of good options.

First choice; Satu'li Canteen in AK hands down. Second choice; Les Halles Des France, or Tangierine Cafe Morocco both in EPCOT obviously. If I'm close to Sunshine Seasons in EPCOT it's also worth checking out. In MK we do Harbour House, and Sleepy Hollow (for brekkie). Studios is the hardest... we like Backlot for tradition but it's basically a fast food paradise. Coffee and snacks as well as some brekkie items we hit up Starbucks in each park.
