Well, after taking B to the Dr this morn.@9 (we live 5 min away! ) We had to drop off his prescriptions,drove thru to get a snack and them went home and realized I needed to run to Wal-Mart. Then I have to leave Wal-Mart w/out most of what I went to get and right when I was pulling into my Driveway, the phone beeps.(I was on the other line! )
It was the school nurse. DS7 was running fever! So I had to run B in the house to Pot tay (which is why we left Wally World) then run up to the school and get DS7. Get home and realize we didn't pick up B's meds. So we drive to the pharmacy. They say... Oh you dropped it off 2 1/2 hours ago? Well we need at least 20-30 more min. Translation at least another hour, since they told me 45 min to an hour when I dropped it off!!!
Now I'm home with 1 kid with fever and not feeling Well, and the other kid feeling his wheaties but hungry and not able to eat!
So what do I do when my nerves are stressed????

Hi Everyone, Sharky and I had to take DGS to emergency room this morning, he's been there all day and when they decicded to keep him I came back to pack a bag and have her DH take it. Then we are going back tonight. I just wanted everyone to know why she wasn't on line unless she can get on at the hospital tonight. He'll be fine, he had an asthma attack and they are keeping him to monitor his breathing!

Oh MY! I hope he is ok....

Philadelphia huh? We are right across the river. Well Trentmom is, I used to be but live in Louisiana now, I am in south Jersey though until Thursday morning!!! It's so good being home. Gotta get me a Philly Cheesesteak, which is best, Pats or Geno's, LOL???? We've had some good south Jersey Pretzels so far, had a few good diner meals, had some tastykakes and now have to get a good hoagie and a Philly Cheesesteak, plus pick up some good Del Buono rolls in Haddon Heights and some Lebanon Bologna and we'll be all set!!!! Gotta have some good food before I go back to Louisiana as that type of food isn't to my taste!!!!

oh no you didn't...don't listen to her we have great food here...

OMGoodness....Do your child have strep....If so please keep him away from the Puter...I get strep...Just by being told that my Wifes sisters Friend who lives in Kentucky Has a Neighbor that has Strep....So please do not pas it along to me...through the DIS!!!!

No I'm not Well not certifiable anyway!!

When we went to the Dr. The first thing they did was run a strep test. Well we consider ourselves somewhat as experts of Strep throat. Ds5 has had it over 27 times that I can remember and have the notes on!!! I can usually tell he's got it, they'll run the test and half the time it is negative and then 3 days later it shows positive on the culture.
So they run the test, the Dr comes in and says it's neg. It's probably just a reaction from the chicken pox booster, you know how his immune system does......Blah, blah blah..... and then she says the 1st time he got the chiken pox shot he did ffine didn't he? "Yes ma'am"
So she looks at his throat and say WHOA!!! Calls the RN in training and says LOOK!! He goes and she says we are treating it as strep BUT watch it very carefully. To make a LOOOOONG story short, they think it was caused by the chicken pox booster. They think his immune system went COO-COO. As it is known to do and it came out in the form of strep.. .....We hope. If not then it could be some type of internal chicken pox or other wierd virus thing.
So now see why I hope it's just strep??????

Before anyone asks. Yes B's had his tonsil out. It will be 2 yrs in Jan. He's only had 7 cases since then!!! It's been @9 months since the last time he had it, so maybe that's not what it is. But then I don't want hom to have the other!!!!!!

O.K. DD I now have the comp. strep proof. After spraying everything down w/ Lysol I have the comp enckised in a glass box. I have covered my freshly washed hands with Latex free gloves and I then placed my hands through 2 prtholes. After pushing a button the portholes close around my arms and then proceed to wash the gloves w/ an antibacterial spray. Then another porthole opening opens and I can slide my hands through those. I am now safely typing on a strep free comp. Just for you DD!!!
Oh yeah Me and B also are wearing our masks!
