Hello Angels, I hope everyone is having a good evening. I have my Auntie Marsha box all done except for the newspaper. That will get in there tomorrow. Then it's off to the Post office. I have 2 overseas boxed, one domestic box, one book, and all of DHs bills. I can tell it's gonna be an exciting day. I went to the mall to look for some summer Disney on sale, but TDS is just full of back packs and kid stuff, nothing for me to buy. So I went to Casual Corner and got a new skirt, sweater, dress, bracelet, and earrings to make myself feel better. I need to make sure I don't go back to TDS for a while. I can't afford to feel as good as I did today very often! Except everything was on 1/2 price of less, so I felt REALLY good! No TV watching till bed time, the remote contol for my DIsh inthe LR died. But the good news is that they are sending a new one for free tomorrow.

Gotta go do some corporate business, did I tell you that DH and I own a corporation? I am the VP/Secretary! It's called Down-Rite Floors, Inc. Pretty catchy for a flooring installation company, eh?

This is DAY 2 of summer vacation.....nothing to do....except Matt's annual checkup. Sure does feel weird.

Up early to go to work today. No LK today, so I will be in our office alone. What to do...what to do..? I asked my DH to go to lunch w/ me, so I hope he is free later on.

Slept in, trying to get well.

I have physical therapy this morning, and they are working on my road again! They called yesterday to tell me I could not go in or out after 8 am. My appointment is at 9, so DH is going to pick up DD, and she is going to come take care of dogs today, and I am going to stay at her place until the road is open. There is no way I can come up from the highway on foot in my condition, so we are swaping houses for the day. The city engineer is going to come up to the house and let her know when I can come in, so she can call me.

Looks like our road will FINALLY be done!! Not today, but soon!

Marsha, your company will have to come put in my slate floors! WE are going to do something interesting in the great room/familyroom/diningroom/foyer area. That whole part of the house is open (except for the fireplace and those big character logs, so we are doing an interesting thing with multi colored slate and wood flooring. With all the wood of the logs, I decided not to do wood floor in there like I had originally planned. I came up with this idea to make a wood grid orthogonal to the walls. The "lines" of the grid would be about 20 inches wide, and the spaces or squares between will be 4 feet square. The spaces will be where the slate goes. DH worked it out on the computer so I could see the pattern, and I think it will look great!

BTW, OK...Have a great time at the water park!! It sounds like we could have a really hot humid day here today too. A great day for a soak!

Matt already has the directions to IHOP memorized and knows just where the exit is.

Morning all! Don't know what I am going to do today. Probably some cleaning around the house and pay some bills. Exciting stuff, huh? I do have to go shopping for the box for Lars' nephew. Would be nice if some of the kids friends would call and take them for a few hours so I can shop in peace.
