I swear I saw previews yesterday for 48 Hours! I swear it said Tonight at 10:00! Oh well.
The weather in Sandusky this weekend for Riddlecon doesn't look great. I see Thunderstorms in the forecast.

DD is due home today! She's been gone for 3 weeks and I sure do miss her!

Gina, I'm jealous! I want nothing to do to!

Have Fun today Bernie! But don't overdo it! We want you in tip top shape this weekend!

No news yet. I pitched a fit to the clinic and told them 10 days to wait for results was absurd. Then I called my retired doctor who still works in their "first care" unit, and talked with him. He must have pulled some strings, because they were very apologetic when I arrived at the hospital for the EMG and said results would be available in 24 hours! When I got home there was also a message from the clinic saying they had scheduled me for a follow up Wednesday morning! It pays to be a squeekt wheel sometimes!

I've gotten in the nasty habit of going back to sleep with Meg after Neil leaves for work....

Busy day here, trash runs, mowing lawns,and laundry....not glamorous, but hey, someone's gotta do it..


oh yeah, and the "haircut" at 4:30....wish me luck!!!!! (course I'm all worked up and he probably won't do anything different )

I am doing chores today. Trying to get DS a haircut. The last 2 times we drove to the barber shop, it was closed. I have a hair appt at 3. Need to get some things for this weekend, like a travel alarm. We have 1 but both DD and I need one.

Diane, be the squeaky wheel. You deserve answers as they are available, not just convenient. With my patients, I bend over backwards for people who are pleasant and understanding but balk at the ones who are nasty. So be pleasant, as I am sure you are, and persistant, and hopefully you will get answers.

I am getting excited about Friday.

Took our kids to see Spy Kids 3 the other day. Can I say DUMB!!!!!!! I kept shutting my eyes trying to nap.

I sent my Auntie Lars package out this morning! Boy do they ask a lot of questions at the post office. Then I had to remember everything I bought to list on a form. Hope he enjoys it!

Hmmm, Mrs Corporate Executive...... well, I have never been paid, although the business always shows a profit, and that ends up as stockholder income, so we have to pay taxes on it. Last year it was not a pretty sight, we endied up paying the fed due to the business $$$$. Oh well. We incorporated in 96, we had always operated at sole proprietor untill then, but corporations are supposedly better tax wise, liability wise, etc. After last year, I wonder.

Diane, as much as I would love to help you out, the only way we could do that type of floor would be with a custom vinyl tile. We only work in carpet, sheet vinyl, vinyl tile, and non vinyl tile. No wood, slate, stone, ceramic, etc. But I know exactly what you are talking bout, and I think it will be beautiful.

For those of you who might be interested, if you ever watch the Today Show and you see the floor that had the globe on it, Pete installed that floor in 93. He did several other high profile floors, all in a custom vily tile that mimics the look of wood, stone, etc. It is a lot cleaner work, and requires fewer tools.

Today, I have a lot of mailing to do, and that's it. Kimmar, I missed that you cancelled your vacation, I guess I have to go back a zillion pages to find it. I will miss you for sure!

Boring day here................hung out at home & went to the bead store..........
Sad day in the county I live in...8 kids, 16 and under, in a mini van lost control last night....3 dead, 4 in hospital & 1 was released
I am waiting to hear how Steph's hair turns out...wasn't her appt at 4:30? She should be on later with before & after pics
Marsha-I have seen that floor on the Today Show! Very cool!
I'm off to catch up on the rest of the Dis.......not that anything else is 1/2 as important as the RMC thread but i've gotta stay current!!
