Got our new cell phones this weekend. We felt like we needed to get on a family plan, so David would have a phone when he's out and about. Of course, Amy wanted to have one, too. So we came away with 3 new phones. Allen will have to add on when his job ends, but for now he still has a company phone. I'll give Sandi my cell number to add to my RC book. I've got lots of weekend minutes, so if anyone wants to call, I'd love to say hi.
It's been a busy couple of days. Spent yesterday packing Amy for camp and picking up odds and ends that she needed. Last night she got tired and began to panic about whether or not she should go (normal behavior for her

). By this morning she was okay again. She gets nervous when she's away from home and nights make it worse.
Today we went to church. Our minister was out of town, as well, Carol and we don't like ours either. Boy do we have a lot in common. David got a special blessing for his license and Amy for going to camp. We went out to a local Chinese buffet for lunch and headed to camp. It's about an hour away. It was HOT! Poor kid might melt before the week is up. BTW, she is planning to sing "I Won't Say I'm in Love" on talent show night. The kid is Disney to the core. When we got back home this evening, we took my mother's boyfriend to Outback for dinner. His birthday was Friday and they were out of town.
Anyway, we've eaten out twice today, so I'm stuffed. Where did my diet go? Actually, I did pretty well considering. David has taken TWO girls to the movies tonight.

He's becoming quite popular among his friends who are mostly 15 and can't drive yet. LOL! He thinks this new popularity is pretty fun.
I'm an Episcopalian and we celebrate Pentecost in May or June, too. Isn't that funny that it's different for different churches. Never knew that before. This thread is educational. Maybe THAT'S why I spend so much time here?
Glad to hear Melissa is feeling better. Loved the trip report so far.
Loved our pic in the yearbook. We look like cherubs. Me thinks they don't know us very well. LOL!
Marsha, hope you sleep better tonight. I didn't get enough sleep, so I think I'll sleep like a log tonight. Elaine says she is tired too. Maybe we've all been doing too much too fast. I think I need a vacation.
Great news about your FIL, Lars. I'm glad he's doing better.
Sorry SB that you have to work. Not a fun place to be on the weekend. Still if you have to work, dressed in shorts is the way to go.
Please do tell us about the sleepover. I made Amy stay home from one on Friday night because the little brother had had the flu. Boy was I a dirty rat, but I didn't want her to get sick before camp.
Marsha, sounds like the packing is coming right along. I hate packing and after getting Amy ready last night it's the last thing I want to think about.
I'm sure I missed responding to somebody. That's what happens when you wait too long to post. Too much to remember.
