Beast question

For BOG Dinner.....are they sitting in all the rooms? If so, are you allowed to ask for the ball room? and a table close to where the beast walks by?
DH & I always take our grandkids when they turn 5 for a special trip to Disney. The 1st 2 have been able to get their picture with the beast. Our DGS was frightened of the pictures, when he was around 3. ...so much so, I had to remove pictures with the beast when he would visit...LOL Then he started asking to see the pictures & we have talked for 2 years, how he would get to see how friendly the beast is on our trip. Of course, now we know, he will not get to meet him.
I have snagged a dinner time & would love to be at a table that isn't too far away from where he walks.

I recommend asking for the gallery room. The way it is set up, you won’t be too far from the beast when he walks through. The ballroom is so large it seems yo me not as likely a table would open directly on the beast’s path.

does he walk into the Gallery room? or just to the doorway?
We've eaten in all 3 rooms...I know the West Wing is too dark (done once/not again). I can't remember when we ate in the Gallery room how it was when he walked around.

We ate there in August and he did a loop around the central "music box" so he basically walked next to all the tables. He also stopped inside the room ear the entrance and briefly interacted with tables from there (e.g., I was seated off to the side but he saw I was wearing a disney-bounding yellow dress with roses on it and he pointed at it and did a little air-waltz to acknowledge my "Belle" look--very cute!). We actually far preferred it to the brief walk-through and photo shoot format that existed pre-Covid.
