Be Our Guest Lunch Fastpass

Okay I have booked my BOG fast pass for Aug. 10th. If I want to change it to the 14th will I be able to do that now? I thought that the FP window opened on our first day on property but that we got to choose what day. Is that correct? Do I have to wait until tomorrow to book for the 14th? I went in and it said that if I changed dates I would loose my original fast pass. I don't want to try another date and loose the date I have. Does it erase the first FP and then book the second one or does it wait until you complete the FP for the second date? I hope that I am not confusing anyone.
 
I got the email to book, went in and booked it for the 4 of us, but never received any sort of confirmation. So I went back into the site and it gave me an option to book it again, but for only 3 of my party, instead of the 4 that are all on the same everything. Any ideas?? Will it send you any sort of confirmation? I KNEW I should have screen shot the ressie when I made it!!!

Edit: I just went and booked it for the 3 of us, plus our meals. I got to the Congratulations page, I did screen shot it (and our meals) this time. I put in 4 meals and it let me. Not sure if that will be an issue when we get there or not. I would assume the tables are set for at least parties of 4 so that shouldn't be an issue. if it is my 5 year old can sit in my lap!

On ght BOG FP it only books one day at a time. It will show you all your dates but you can only book them as they open up.
If you book one tomorrow for the 14th, It will not cancel the first one until the second one is confirmed. It will give you a message that says something like "if you choose to book this new reservation, your current reservation will be canceled" (something like that). So tomorrow you should be able to book one for the 14th. Good luck!! :goodvibes
 

Just got the invite email to try BOG. I'm excited as I can never seem to get a dinner reservation for here!Hopefully on Saturday I can get a FP for Aug. 15th.I checked and right now it is only open for the 13th.
 
Hi everyone! How far in advance are you able to book your BOG FP+? Is it standard to receive an email? We aren't there until Sept 5 but I keep checking everyday

Right now it's 28 days out.

I got an email (it came after I booked) but many people have reported that they never got one.

You don't have to wait for the email, but you can't book until 28 days before the date you want to eat there.

Ok I think I am just not understanding but where it this 12 digit ressie number everyone is talking about. I only have a number that is not that long and also has letters in it.:confused3 Am I not looking in the right place for this number? It's the only number I see on anything. :rolleyes1

Instructions on how to find it are posted numerous times throughout the thread. I have copied them for you

:wave2:Meriweather. You must have the 12 digit all numeric reservation #.
Here are a couple of ways to find it:

  • Login to the Disney website.
  • On the My Disney Experience tab, click "My Itinerary"
  • Scroll the calendar to your check in day.
  • On the page, place your cursor on the line that says "View Reservation Details" and right click.
  • Scroll down to "view page source"
  • Then I used the "control F" feature (just hold down control and the F key>it will bring up a "find" box>type in the word "reservationnumber" to find reservationNumber value and the 12 digit code that starts with 44xxxxxxxxxx.

OR, if you can't find it like that, I was going into my account to make a payment and found it there.

  • Log into your account on disneyworld.com
  • Hover over MyDisneyExperince till you see the options
  • Click on My Reservations and tickets
  • Under "Disney Resort Hotel Reservation" you will see your reservation details
  • Click on "view details" at the bottom of the reservation details
  • A box will pop up that will show more details on the left and your travel party avitars on the right.
  • At the top right under "Reservations for X", you will see "balance due (due by XXXXXXXX) $x,xxx.xx USD Make a payment"
  • Click on "Make a payment"
  • Now, look at the URL web address.
  • It will look like this: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/reservation/resort/44XXXXXXXXXX/payments/

This (12 digit # I have underlined) is your reservation number. It will start with a 4.

I know some have been lucky enough to already used FP for a BOG lunch. I am wondering if you get a choice in which room you are seated. For some reason I really want to eat in the rose room.

We have done the BOG lunch 3 times (twice with FP). Each time we were able to choose to sit wherever we wanted, as long as there were open tables. The rose room is our favorite as well, but it is also the smallest room. We have always been able to get a table in there, but I do think we had to wait a few minutes one time for one to open up.
 
I was able to book BOG lunch for Tuesday 8/12 :banana: It does not show up however it is not showing up on the MDE app. Do they have our name when we go to the podium? TIA.

I signed into my account with my reservation number and then realized my parents weren't in there (they're on their own res). I changed to their reservation number to see if it would be possible to make both of our reservations separately through my one mde account, since they don't have one set up. I'm not even sure how I did it now, because it's no longer an option to change res numbers. Now when I sign in, it's only giving me my parents' names. There is a place to change the names, but we have 3 people in our party and they only have 2. I wouldn't be able to add our 3rd person. When I sign in to the BOG now, it says "welcome [my mom's name]" but when I sign into regular mde, it says my name.

Has anyone had this happen? Has anyone been able to make FP for people under more than one res #?

Nope, you can't change anything now. You will have to create a second account on the BOG site with your reservation number.

It's not going to show up in MDE. They will know it's your reservation when you scan your MB. It's all tied to your reservation number
