Well, my day 27 started at midnight last night (for a reservation on 12/13). I checked every 15 minutes for two hours. FINALLY, at 2 a.m. there it was -- with every type of time configuration you could think of. They were in half hour increments (not an hour as was previously mentioned). Everytime I refreshed the site, more times showed up. We are getting off the ship at 9 a.m. and have to check in at OKW, so I was hoping to get something around 1 p.m. I had plenty of choices -- like 12:10 to 12:40 p.m.; 12:20 to 12:50 p.m., etc. I chose 12:45 to 1:15 p.m. (there were also choices before Noon, but we didn't want anything that early). There were over a dozen choices and I didn't even keep checking -- so there is plenty of opportunity. I did pre-order our food as I knew it would make it faster. NOW MY QUESTION, how early should I show up before 12:45 p.m.? Is there a long wait for FP reservations to get in? And finally, a GIANT GREAT BIG thank you to each and every person who came before and provided so much help, assistance and tips! Couldn't have done it without you.![]()
There is no "+10" for BOG reservations. It's 27 days from the day you want to actually eat at BOG, not 27 days from the start of your stay. Today, FP+s for the 13th only opened up (I made ours with no problems, and plenty of times available). If you want to eat on the 18th, you'll have to wait until November 21st.
The BOG FP+ is the ultimate leveler of the playing field...no (onsite) guest has an advantage over anyone else just because they have a longer stay. Everyone has the same chance at 27 days.
FWIW, I was up at midnight last night when MDE was showing I was 27 days from my stay. I checked the BOG website, and no times were showing available for FP+, though there were plenty of slots available then I just checked. So they must load sometime past midnight. I had to refresh only once before the perfect time popped up for us. Thanks for the tip on that, otherwise I would have thought we were out of luck!
The system opens up between 2:00 & 6:00 am, not at midnight is why there was nothing before 2:00am. Not really any reason to get there before your window.
Except for those of us who aren't able to book at 27 days because the system still recognizes us from a past trip - for new emails as well - and only shows us 7 days out!My 27 days would be on 11/22 (for a 12/19 FP+) but I won't be able to try until 12/13 because of this glitch.

Did you try calling Disney dining to see what they could recommend? Maybe they can correct the system to recognize only one of your accounts so that it works on the date you needGood luck!
NOW MY QUESTION, how early should I show up before 12:45 p.m.? Is there a long wait for FP reservations to get in?
Just got back from our trip and we did have lunch at BOG. There was a line up, where they just asked if you had a FP...if you did, then they sent you to the check in line. Both lines moved very quickly. We actually got in the first line (where they don't actually check anything, just confirm that you have a FP) before our time, because it looked long. However, it moved so fast we had to get out to wait for our time! So I don't think you need to show up early.
I cannot stress enough that you should definitely pre-order. Once we checked in (which is outside the restaurant, at the beginning of the bridge) we were directed into the entrance of the castle/restaurant. There, a cast member asked for our name again, pulled up our reservation and scanned my magic band to pay for our pre-ordered meals. We were given a receipt and then went in to find a table (which was not a problem). Our food arrived within about 5 minutes of sitting down.
When we left, we saw a very, very long line of people waiting to order their food. I can't understand why people don't pre-order - especially since you can change your order. Pre-ordering will save you so much time, and should eliminate most line waiting!
Thanks so much for the details! What time was your reservation for?
Thanks for the suggestion but unfortunately Disney Dining doesn't have anything to do with BOG lunch FP+. I wish they could help! It is a site glitch that happens when you have used the system on a previous trip. Even though a new reservation number is entered it still either pulls your old dates or only shows availability for the next 7 days. Frustrating!![]()
At that time the line for people who hadn't pre-ordered food was half way down the bridge.
I am in the exact same situation. Looking for a reservation on 12/14 but because I used the FP+ last November I can not do anything! I tried creating a new email, etc....Seems hopeless, please re-post if you have any success. I am guessing that 7 days out will show no availability.
