Be Our Guest Lunch FastPass Thread [PLEASE read the FAQs in the first post!]

It does say on one of the pages, i believe the one that lists your party, that you can reduce the party size when you arrive at the restaurant. I would go ahead and order what you want. Have fun!!

I apologize if someone has already posted an answer to this problem...

I just logged in and was able to make my lunch reservation, but it's listing all four of us twice and it won't let me change the guests...any idea what to do or who to call? I don't want to select food choices until I can fix this.

Any ideas? TIA!

October 2013 we used the BOG FP+. When I made the FP+ for my sister's room and said we had the DDP the system assigned a CS credit to my sister's 2 year old who had no dining credits. she was able to fix it at the kiosk when she went to pay with MBs. I would think you could change it at the time you pay but don't know 100%

Has anyone been able to get a reservation for Tuesday, December 9th yet? I keep getting no FP available.

I don't think you're within 27 days yet are you? By my quick finger-counting on a calendar :) that would be tomorrow (Weds 12 Nov) for a 9 Dec booking.

I hadn't planned on waking up at 2:00am to make my BOG FastPass+ because so many said they made them in the mornings without any problem... But, the wind was blowing, something was making racket outside my window, all I was "dreaming" about was DISNEY and BOG fp+, I stirred in bed, checked the time and it was 2:04... So, I took that as my sign!

So, here I am! Now it is 2:32 and I have my fastpass+ for Monday, December 8, and I've already ordered our food! lol

Got my print-out ready to go and hope that everything runs smoothly when we are at MK on that day!

Thank you to EVERYONE who has posted on this thread. I think I've read 99% of the posts and have been following this thread since it was probably ONLY 16 pages long! lol

Thanks again,
Dot*

Ahhhhh. You are right. It should be Tuesday night (ie, technically Wednesday morning at 2:00 am), not Tuesday. So, I stayed up late for nothing. Here's for another late night :0

I'm still worrying about my FP+ I *think* I got early this morning. I took a screen shot of the screen that I will email to myself & I printed a hard copy of the screen to take with us...

But, I don't see any sort of confirmation number on it. Only "Congratulations! Your selections have been saved." Number of guests, date, & arrival time window, Subtotal $ and Arrival Instructions.

Am I good? I'm also still interested in reading about people who have used FP+ and their experience!

Thanks!

You should be just fine. I never got a conf. # or email either and had no problems checking in for FP. Just go up to a cast member "mannng" the bridge to BOG, they will ask you if you have a FP and when you say yes they will direct you over to the left to a check in area. Piece of cake! I didn't need any proof, as they should have it in their system, but it's always a good idea to have your screenshot handy just in case :). Enjoy!

Wow! I had the same question as the previous folk. I did save the confirmation and will print it in a bit. The hubs and I will be having lunch on Dec.8th. It will be the first day of our vacation. I did find it interesting finding my "confirmation" number for our vacation package. Imagine finding it in the url! Too funny. Had no trouble making the reservation - even ordered lunch! Yep, we already know what we want to eat. I hope anyone else trying to make a ressie it will be as smooth as my experience. ARG! Now I have to wait 27 days.

Your BOG lunch is the same day as ours & it is our 1st day at the parks too!! Glad you got your FP+ & may the rest of your vacation be WONDERFUL!

On the official WDW site, the kids' lunch menu at BOG includes grilled chicken. However, it's not an option when you go to the BOG FP site to advance order, either as an adult or kids entree. Does anyone know if grilled chicken is actually an option? Could the menu on the main site just be wrong? I have a child with allergies and the grilled chicken is kind of our failsafe at all Disney restaurants. If you know...thank you!

I just went up to the booth at the bridge and gave them my name. It was all they needed. That was the easy part.

After that you go into the preorder or no preorder line to wait wait wait. Then you go inside to wait wait wait to confirm your order or place an order. Then you search for a table. Best tip is to grab drinks, silverware as you leave the pay kiosk so when you finda table you can stake it out, I had someone try to take mine, with my drink and utensils on it, when I decided to get up and change sides of the table. Waited 20 minutes for food after that.

I'm sorry if this has been asked earlier in the post. I didn't see it in the FAQ, so I thought I'd get some input.

We went to WDW last year, and successfully secured BOG FP ressies. We are going again this year, and tomorrow I will hit 27 days from the day I want to go to BOG, so I decided to log into the BOG FP site tonight to get ready.

I logged in, using the same login credentials as last year (I only have one Disney login) but the only openings available to me are for the next week. After 11/17, the dates are not selectable. My trip doesn't even start until 12/4.

At this point, I'm thinking that since I used my same login as last year, the site is remembering last year's ressie, and isn't updating with my new 2014 ressie, even though that ressie is affiliated with my login.

Do I have any other option to book more than a week out, or am I forced to create a new account to get a BOG FP? I'm booking for myself and my extended family, so creating three bogus email accounts in order to secure BOG FPs isn't exactly my cup of tea.

Thanks for any help.

Unfortunately, that is currently the only known solution to the issue of a previous booking being remembered when you next log back in.

So yes, you will need a different login (i.e. new email address) for each hotel reservation reference number, and then you go through the process in the FAQ of using different windows for each login, and keep pressing Refresh on each of them until you get offered times which match closely enough for everyone in your group.

I know that's not what you want to hear, but it's the best solution we've been able to come up so far given absolutely no support at all from Disney.

I have a ressie that day also and it's my first day too. Lol. Enjoy.

This is coincidentally the exact reason I started a new thread http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=3350518 in this forum a few hours earlier. I asked fellow members to list their experiences on that thread describing if they had to create a new email/resort reservation account in order to successfully use the BOG FP site for their 2nd, 3rd, etc. trips. So far, only one member has replied on that thread and they said they had no problems using their original BOG FP account for their subsequent trips as the system acknowledged their later resort reservations correctly and allowed them to book BOG FPs on those later trips within their stay days.

Of course, I see that another member has replied to your post stating that it appears that it IS necessary to create a new email/resort reservation account in order to book BOG FPs correctly for those subsequent trips.

So I'm hoping more members who have done these multiple trips will reply to my thread letting us know how they may have been able to successfully use their original account to book subsequent trips. I'm also curious to see just what the percentage may be for those who were able to use the one account versus those who had to use multiple accounts for making the BOG FP bookings.

I had booked BoG FP last year using an email address. This year we have 2 resort reservations. 1 night at POR (dec 7), followed by 4 night Dream cruise (dec 8-12), followed by 7 nights at CSR (dec 12-19). Our MK days are dec 17 and 18.
When I logged into last years account it shows dec 7 to 13 of this not greyed out. All other dates greyed out.
So I created a new email address, and when I first logged in I only entered the CSR reservation number (dec 12-19). It still only shows Dec 7 to 13 not greyed out, and the rest is greyed out.
I know it's not 27 days yet to dec 12, but I'm a little worried that I won't be able to select FP for my MK park days.
2 weeks ago I called Disney Dining and they said it's not their department and put me through to IT. IT said at 27 days before dec 12, the following week will appear UN-greyed out. But I just found this thread today so I thought I'd confirm whether that is true.
Will it automatically unblock it 27 days before dec 12?

Thanks so much for the information. Great tips!

Thanks for the input. I did create new accounts for two of the three families. But lo and behold, the exact same issue populated on both of those accounts, even though they were new accounts created with existing ressie numbers, with checkin dates of 12/4. So, at this point I think I'm just out of luck completely, at at the mercy of there being times left when I can finally book one week before I want to go. :(

As a follow-up to what I wrote above, the only thing I can think is perhaps to try *another* new account, this time perhaps tied to one of my children, instead of to me? I was the ressie/FP holder for both years, but maybe if I switch the entire thing into someone else's name, it might have a shot at working? Thoughts?
